Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Episode Update 11th August 2024: Rohit’s Fury Unleashed on Armaan
The episode begins with Rohit thinking about what Ruhi said. While fixing his bike, he hurts himself. Armaan comes over and hands him a tool. Rohit sarcastically thanks him. Armaan asks why Rohit suggested to Dadi that he should marry Abhira, wondering why Rohit would care about his happiness when they don’t get along. Rohit replies that Armaan should just be grateful. Armaan starts working on the bike and says, “Do you really think I’ll find happiness in this marriage? Abhira and I want to marry, but our happiness is tied to our family and to you. Yet, you mistreat me every day.” Meanwhile, Ruhi thinks to herself that if she makes Rohit angry, maybe he’ll change his mind. Vidya, however, warns her not to, saying it will only make things worse.
Rohit accuses Armaan of meddling in his marriage again. Confused, Armaan asks what he means. Abhira and the others watch as Rohit continues, saying, “You were fussing over Ruhi with medicine. Why do you care so much about her?” Armaan explains that her hand was bleeding, and he was just being humane. Rohit sarcastically asks if Armaan went on a date because of his humanity. Armaan defends himself, saying that it was Rohit who caused the drama and that Rohit is upset with both him and Abhira. As he starts the bike, Armaan demands to know why Rohit set the condition for marriage.
In frustration, Rohit pushes the bike over and shouts, “I can walk! Stop trying to be my crutch!” He then accuses Armaan of making him feel weak, saying, “Ruhi agreed to marry me because you told her to. Do I even matter? An older brother should make the younger one strong, but you’ve made me weak. I can’t save my marriage without your help. Ruhi can’t move on unless you marry Abhira. She’s trying to focus, but you’re distracting her. We can only move forward if you get out of our way.” Armaan, shocked, says, “No, what are you saying?” Rohit pleads with him, “Please marry Abhira. You love her, right? Or are you planning to hurt her like you hurt Ruhi?” With hands folded, Rohit adds, “You like doing favors, right? Here’s your chance. Marry Abhira, it’ll be a big favor.”
Kajal overhears and tells Manisha not to agree. Manisha asks why, pointing out that Rohit wants Armaan and Abhira to get married. Kajal, however, suspects that Sanjay is trying to break the family apart. Vijay enters and agrees with Rohit, saying that only this marriage can heal Rohit’s wounds. Dadi scolds Kajal for objecting. Vidya speaks up, saying, “You think Abhira and Armaan are wrong, but it’s our duty to make sacrifices for the family. If this marriage doesn’t happen, Rohit won’t be happy, and he won’t manage the family business well. Everything will fall apart.” Dadi, reflecting on Ruhi and Sanjay’s words, starts to agree with Vidya and tells everyone to prepare for the Teej festival.
Armaan and Abhira have a private conversation. Abhira recalls how their marriage plans fell apart before, and how Dadi is now in a tough position. Armaan says they have no other choice, and Dadi might give in to Rohit’s demands. Abhira worries, saying, “We decided to marry when Dadi was ready, but now Rohit is almost forcing her. None of us will be happy this way.” Armaan asks, “You love me, right? Why can’t we be happy together?” Abhira explains that they’re getting married just to save Rohit’s marriage, not for their own happiness. She fears they’ll be blamed, and Dadi already dislikes her. Crying, she says, “This time, I have my love with me, but I’m scared of losing you. I want Dadi to accept me wholeheartedly, or I won’t marry you.” She leaves, and Ruhi, overhearing, thinks it’s good that Abhira won’t easily give in.
Later, Madhav looks at a childhood photo of Rohit and Armaan. Rohit points out that it’s from his 5th birthday when Madhav was too busy with work to attend, leaving Rohit sad and waiting for him. Madhav apologizes, but Rohit remembers how Armaan made the day special by playing with him all day. Madhav regrets not being there as a father, but he’s glad that Armaan took on the role of both brother and father. He tells Rohit, “Armaan loves you, and you love him too…” but Rohit interrupts, saying he only talked to Dadi because… Madhav smiles and says, “Your heart is pure, and love can’t stay hidden for long. You’ve done so much for Armaan and Abhira. Thank you.”
Meanwhile, Armaan is deep in thought, recalling Abhira and Dadi’s words. Frustrated, he shouts, and Ruhi watches him. Armaan agrees with Abhira’s fears that Dadi will always take out her anger on her. Ruhi tells him to stop obsessing over Abhira’s worries. Later, Armaan goes to Abhira and finds a note with a drawing of a bench on it.
