Yeh Hai Chahatein Written Episode Update 14th August 2024: Pradyuman’s Hidden Agenda
The episode begins with Karun getting bullied at school. His teacher notices a piece of paper stuck to his back that says “I am a donkey” and asks who did it. Upset, Karun runs out crying and bumps into Meera. He tells her what happened, and Meera assures him that they’ll talk to the bullies and tell them not to treat new students this way. She encourages him to go with her.
Meanwhile, Kashvi overhears Pradyuman on the phone, telling someone not to call him repeatedly and that he’ll meet them at 9 PM. Curious, Kashvi decides to find out who he’s meeting and accidentally bumps into him. Pradyuman, startled, tells her she should have knocked. Kashvi explains she was just bringing him some clothes that were mistakenly left in her room. She also reminds him that they’re supposed to meet the landowner for their project and asks if they should eat at a Thai or Indian restaurant. Pradyuman, however, says he has a dentist appointment and can’t attend the meeting. Kashvi offers to reschedule and wonders why he would skip such an important meeting.
Meera then goes to the Principal to report the kids who bullied Karun, explaining she found him crying outside the school. The Principal, however, defends the older students and suggests that Karun might have been up to some mischief. She even hints that if something had happened to him outside the school, Meera would have blamed her. Frustrated, Meera tells Karun that he was right—this school isn’t good.
Kashvi later learns from Raunaq Sir that Devraj escaped from jail after making some friends inside. Kashvi suspects that Pradyuman is working for Devraj and vows to catch him that day.
Karun tells Meera that he hates his new school. Meera asks if he liked his old school and if he had any friends there. Karun replies that he was like a king at his old school, but now even the peon wouldn’t let him back in. Meera encourages him to come along.
Arjun and Kashvi bump into each other. Arjun teases Kashvi, saying they should bump heads again like they did as kids. The school peon jokes that if they don’t, they’ll grow horns like Mahishasur. They playfully bump heads, and Arjun jokes that their future baby will look strange with horns. Kashvi tells him not to call her baby his. Arjun jokes that he’ll get a DNA test once the baby is born. Kashvi retorts that by then, she’ll be married to Pradyuman and Arjun won’t be able to claim the baby. Arjun warns her not to marry Pradyuman, saying he’ll never allow it. Kashvi fires back, asking who he thinks he is to give permission, especially since he married Meera. She walks away angrily.
Meera then speaks to the Principal of Karun’s old school, promising that she won’t let Karun cause any trouble. The Principal is doubtful but says if Karun wants to be admitted, he must apologize in front of the whole assembly. Meera assures her that Karun will apologize, even though he refused last time. Later, Meera tells Karun he has to say sorry, but Nitya disagrees, saying Karun shouldn’t have to apologize. Karun decides he won’t say sorry and refuses to go to any school. Meera confronts Nitya for not letting Karun make his own decisions. Later, she asks Karun to go to the market with her, and he agrees, hoping for ice cream. Meera promises him one.
Kashvi sees Pradyuman leaving with a bag full of money. She sits down with Mahinder, who is watching a match, as Pradyuman says he’s off to give his old clothes to a friend. Kashvi quietly follows him.
In the market, Meera sees a lady buying ginger. When the seller says they’re out of ginger, Meera asks the lady for a piece, but she refuses. Karun suggests they check other shops. As they leave, Meera accidentally bumps into the lady and helps her pick up her vegetables.
Meanwhile, Kashvi follows Pradyuman and sees him handing money to someone, telling them not to contact him again. Kashvi confronts him, pulling out a gun and declaring, “Your game is over.”
