Udne Ki Aasha 20th August 2024 Written Episode: Sachin-Sayali Confront Renu’s Deceit
The episode begins with Kusum visiting Renu’s house with her family. Renu warmly hugs Kusum and welcomes her. Kusum compliments Renu, and then Sayali brings water for the guests. Renu starts bragging about her looks, and Sachin coughs, catching Kusum’s attention. Kusum realizes Sachin is Renu’s son, and Renu confirms it. Just then, Sayali gets a phone call, but Renu quickly tells her to ignore it. Sayali agrees, saying she’ll call back later because she’s busy.
Renu then introduces Tejas and Roshni, lying that Tejas is a partner in a big car showroom. Sachin whispers to Sayali, asking why Renu is making up stories. Sayali quietly tells him not to say anything for now. Renu continues, claiming that Roshni owns a chain of beauty parlors and that they come from a wealthy family, with Roshni’s father being a big businessman from Dubai. She even pretends they just returned from Dubai, trying to impress Kusum. Sachin is left shocked by all the lies.
Renu then introduces Sachin as her second son, and when he starts to say that he’s a taxi driver, Renu cuts him off, exaggerating that he runs a taxi service with many cars in the city. She then asks Sayali to call Akash. Sayali goes to find Akash, telling him to meet the guests and behave politely for the family’s sake, even if he doesn’t like it.
Meanwhile, Riya apologizes to Raghav, who playfully threatens her with a toy gun, pretending to punish her by shooting water. Riya is startled, but Raghav laughs it off, saying it’s not a real gun and that he’s only joking. He reassures her that he’s there to protect her, making Riya think about leaving.
Back at the gathering, Renu continues lying about Akash’s success. Sayali, sensing the tension, asks Sachin to keep quiet. She then brings out the food, and Renu proudly tells everyone that Sayali prepared everything, praising the taste. Kusum asks about Renu’s husband, and Renu says he’s dealing with a tenant and will join them later. Kusum mentions that she never met him before and recalls how popular Renu was in college. Sachin makes a light-hearted joke.
Just then, Paresh enters, singing “Ek Main Aur Ek Tu” and greets the guests. Renu introduces Paresh as Akash’s father, and Kusum jokingly comments on his appearance, with Sachin agreeing. Renu tries to laugh it off, saying Paresh used to be handsome but has aged. Sachin playfully teases Renu about her lies, and Renu, in turn, says that Sachin is her favorite son and that she loves him, making Sachin clutch his heart in mock disbelief.
Paresh asks Sayali to bring him some water, and Sachin adds that she should bring two glasses. Kusum, confused, asks who Sayali is. Renu suddenly remembers to introduce Sayali as Sachin’s wife. Kusum then remarks that she heard Sayali sells flowers outside the temple, hinting at the real story behind Renu’s fabrications.
