Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty are famous for their comedy movie series Golmaal. They have made four movies together: Golmaal: Fun Unlimited (2006), Golmaal Returns (2008), Golmaal 3 (2010), and Golmaal Again (2017).
Ajay and Rohit promoted Golmaal Again on the set of Bigg Boss 11, hosted by Salman Khan. During the show, Salman jokingly asked Ajay how many parts they would make in the series. Ajay responded that it would depend on how well the audience liked each part. If the audience enjoyed the fourth film, they might make more.
Salman, known for his humor, predicted that the new film would be a hit, just like the previous ones. He asked what was special about Golmaal Again, and Rohit Shetty mentioned that it features a ghost. Ajay added that it is a horror-comedy.
The Golmaal series has consistently featured Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirjee, and Mukesh Tiwari. Shreyas Talpade, Ashwini Kalsekar, and Murali Sharma appeared in three films, while Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kunal Kemmu, and Johnny Lever appeared in two. In Golmaal Again, Parineeti Chopra was the leading actress.
Currently, Ajay Devgn is filming Son of Sardaar 2 in London. This film, a sequel to the 2012 action-comedy Son of Sardaar, also stars Ravi Kishan, Mrunal Thakur, Chunkey Pandey, Vindu Dara Singh, Deepak Dobriyal, Mukul Dev, Ashwini Kalsekar, Kubbra Sait, and Sanjay Dutt. Ajay will also appear in Singham Again, a new installment in Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe.
Salman Khan will next be seen in Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Rashmika Mandanna will play the female lead. The film is scheduled to release during Eid 2025.
