Suman Indori Written Episode Update – 9th September 2024: Kritika’s Consequences
The episode begins with Kritika accidentally hitting Hema with her car while talking to Devika. Panicking, she runs away and bumps into Suman. Suman sees Hema injured and is shocked. Malini asks Hema to open her eyes and tells Suman to check on their Bhabhi. They stop a car and take Hema to the hospital in an auto-rickshaw.
At the hospital, the doctor examines Hema and says it’s a serious case. He suggests admitting her to the ICU and asks for a large sum of money, warning that if they can’t pay, they should take her to another hospital. Suman insists they will not take her mother anywhere else and reminds the doctor of the law that prevents doctors from refusing treatment. The doctor agrees to start the treatment. Suman prays to God, asking to save her mother and take her life instead. Malini consoles her, telling her not to say such things. Suman breaks down in Malini’s arms, pleading for her mother’s life.
Meanwhile, Teerth remembers Suman questioning why he sent Rishi to throw ink on the opposition party. Teerth apologizes to Rishi, who jokes that if he apologizes again, he’ll vote for the opposition. Devika observes that Teerth’s attitude seems to have changed. Teerth asks why Suman dislikes him so much, and Rishi explains that she hates politics, believing politicians take advantage of the poor. Teerth realizes her hatred might be personal, and Rishi reveals that their father, Pramod Sharma, died because of politics.
Back at the hospital, the doctor informs them that Hema’s treatment has started but asks for 2 lakh rupees to continue. Bhumi worries about where they will get the money. Suman is determined to find a way. Just then, Rishi learns about his mother’s accident from Bhumi and tells Teerth, who offers to accompany him. As they rush to the hospital, Kritika confesses the accident to Devika. Devika, realizing it was Suman’s mother who was hit, reassures Kritika not to worry, saying nothing will happen to her as long as she and her father are around.
At the hospital, Teerth arrives with the money, but Suman refuses his help. Rishi insists that she accept it for their mother’s treatment. Grateful, Suman thanks Teerth for his kindness. As they try to calm Suman, a police inspector arrives, saying they’ve seized the car and ask if they want to file an FIR. Suman, determined to get justice, says she will file a complaint and wants to know who caused the accident.
Kritika panics, asking Devika what will happen if the woman dies and she goes to jail. Devika reassures her, saying nothing will happen, and as long as they’re around, she’ll be safe. She then calls the media, planning to use the situation to their advantage, saying it will look good if a politician is seen helping a poor accident victim. Kritika is confused about Teerth’s involvement, but Devika explains that he will be humiliated by Suman in front of the media.
As Teerth is about to pay for Hema’s treatment, the media arrives, questioning if Suman is using the situation to get money from a politician. Teerth is shocked and asks Bittu how the media found out, but Bittu claims he doesn’t know. Suman, frustrated, accuses Teerth of calling the media to make himself look like a hero. She refuses the money, saying she won’t accept charity for publicity. Teerth tries to explain that he didn’t call the media, but Suman remains upset. She declares that she will protect her mother without anyone’s help.
Teerth confronts her, asking why she’s being so stubborn and reminding her that Hema is also Rishi’s mother. He tells Rishi to use his card and pay for the treatment, but Suman demands justice for the person who hit her mother. Teerth asks who it was, and Suman reveals it was Kritika, his Bhabhi’s sister and his girlfriend. She asks if Teerth will have the courage to arrest her and promises to take his money only if he helps get Kritika punished.
Meanwhile, Bhumi is angry at Rishi, accusing him of being too focused on politics and not their family. She asks him not to burden them with his issues. Rishi, feeling the weight of the situation, tells Teerth that if he truly considers himself part of their family, he should arrest Kritika for the accident.
Teerth promises that whoever caused the accident will go to jail. Suman, sitting by Hema’s bedside, calls Poorna, but her son Gulshan picks up. Suman apologizes on behalf of Rishi and asks to borrow 2 lakh rupees for her mother’s treatment, promising to repay with interest. Gulshan agrees but secretly plans to take advantage of her desperation. Suman, unaware of his intentions, rushes out of the ICU.
