Suman Indori 4th September 2024 Written Episode Update: Devika’s Shocking Move
The episode begins with Suman leaving in her tempo. Teerth’s sister-in-law reads Suman’s message about her chaat business. Teerth receives the message and goes to see his mother, who is praying to God for the well-being of her family. Meanwhile, Bhumi’s teacher informs her that if she doesn’t pay the school fees, she won’t be able to take her exams. Suman remains hopeful and refuses the teacher’s offer to help with the fees. On the other side, Teerth’s mother prays for him to find a good wife. Suman, however, refuses to marry and says she wants to live a life like her Bua (aunt). Malini, her mother, scolds her, saying she shouldn’t wish for such a fate and should have a complete family.
Chandrakant Mittal, Teerth’s father, arrives and asks his wife, Gitanjali, to pray that Teerth gains some wisdom. She performs a tilak on him, and Chandrakant criticizes Teerth for spending so much money on politics, mentioning that he had his eyes tested. Teerth replies that he has already had his eyes tested.
Suman and her brother argue about politics, with Suman playfully patting his shoulder. He jokes that no one will marry her if she gets dark circles. She tells him to leave politics, but he insists he will continue until he dies. Their mother intervenes to end the argument, and then the neighbors knock on their door.
Chandrakant talks about his successful journey and how he has many branches of his snack business, but he complains that his son is struggling in the Sarafa Bazaar. Teerth argues that it’s an easy constituency and believes that if he wins votes there, he’ll become an MLA. His elder son arrives, and Chandrakant remarks that his hopes were dashed 15 years ago. His son replies that he finds peace in Saraswati (referring to education or a simple life). Chandrakant then scolds his daughter, Poorvi, for her attire and angrily throws his sandal at his other son, who is drunk. His daughter-in-law arrives, and he feels blessed to have such a caring daughter-in-law. She asks Teerth to take care of a girl whose photo she had sent him.
Local shop owners inform Suman about the Mittal Namkeen shop opening in their area and the CM (Chief Minister) coming for the inauguration. Chandrakant’s daughter-in-law tricks Gitanjali, taking credit for the food she didn’t prepare. Chandrakant scolds Gitanjali, and Teerth becomes upset. Gitanjali serves Teerth poha (a snack), and he praises it as magical, thinking his mother made it. Chandrakant corrects him, saying it was made by his sister-in-law. When Teerth asks what she added to make it so special, she teasingly says she will reveal the secret when he gets married. Meanwhile, Suman is busy preparing food to impress the CM. Teerth’s sister-in-law urges him to teach a lesson to the girl, but he brushes her off, telling her to handle matters herself.
Teerth tells Rishi that once the CM is impressed, he will secure his ticket (nomination). Suddenly, they are informed that the CM won’t be coming. Suman remains optimistic, saying the CM will arrive since they’ve made all the arrangements. Soon, Chandrakant, Gitanjali, and their daughter-in-law arrive at the event. Chandrakant declares that if the CM doesn’t show up, he will cut the ribbon himself. But then, the CM arrives with the police at Suman’s Chaat Bhandar (snack stall) and asks about Mittal Namkeen. Suman directs him to the shop but insists he try her chaat first. The CM agrees and tastes it. Meanwhile, Chandrakant insists they should start the inauguration on time.
Teerth receives word that the CM went to the wrong lane and rushes to bring him back. The shopkeepers complain that they haven’t been paid and start leaving, but Suman urges them to stay. Rishi spots Suman and wonders what she’s doing there. Teerth sees Suman, mistakenly thinking she’s a guest of the CM, and recognizes her from the photos on his phone. He instructs the guards to let her in. As Suman tries to climb the barricade, she falls on Teerth, and flower petals fall on them as they lock eyes. The song Dhadak plays in the background. Devika, watching them, assumes it’s all part of Teerth’s plan to impress Suman, thinking this is just the first step of his scheme.
