Suman Indori 23rd Sept 2024 Written Episode Update: Devika’s Vengeful Plan
The episode begins with Suman praying to God, asking for the food she makes to taste as good as Prasad. She politely asks the chef from Royal Caterers if he would mind her saying something. Gitanjali worries that she made a mistake by bringing Suman and wonders what she will do next. Suman then asks the chef to remove his shoes before entering the kitchen. The chef responds, saying that this is not his home kitchen. Suman explains that it’s still a sacred place, as it’s like the house of Maa Annapurna, and whether or not he believes that, dirty shoes could bring dirt into the food. Suman takes off her own slippers as an example.
Devika arrives and mocks Suman for her old, stitched slippers, saying they belong in the trash. Rishi notices how Suman cares for everyone but neglects herself. Devika then dismisses Suman, reminding her that they are professional caterers who know their job and suggesting Suman mind her own business. Despite this, Suman stays calm and tells Malini they should focus on their work. She prays and begins preparing food, but the chefs don’t give her enough space to work. Malini is frustrated, thinking Devika is trying to sabotage them so they won’t get the catering contract.
Meanwhile, Devika gathers her team—Akhil, Poorvi, and Kritika—telling them not to underestimate Suman, whose chaat is famous in Sarafa. Akhil remembers how tasty her chole tikki was, but Kritika wonders if Suman’s food will be just as good today. Devika, however, plans to make sure Suman doesn’t win and calls her food “garbage.”
Poorvi then enters the kitchen with Akhil and orders Suman not to touch her coffee maker. Suman and Malini ask the chefs for more space, but they ignore them. Devika continues to taunt Suman, saying she’s used to working in a small cart and doesn’t need much space. This upsets Malini, but Suman confidently says that if she can feed all of Sarafa, she can handle this small family. Kritika asks why Suman isn’t wearing gloves, and Suman explains that they wear gloves in Sarafa but tie a dupatta on their heads instead of wearing a cap. She then ties her dupatta and gets back to work.
Later, Gajendra arrives, and Suman starts worrying he might reject her food without even tasting it. Devika, on the other hand, tries to manipulate the situation. She scolds Kritika in front of Gajendra, pretending to teach her the family values, but Teerth isn’t fooled by her act. Gajendra questions why Suman was called after insulting his daughter, but Devika shifts the blame onto Teerth.
Rishi tells Suman to trust Neta Ji, saying he’ll help her win the contract, but Suman remains skeptical. Devika confidently claims that the namkeen king, Gajendra, won’t appreciate Suman’s food. Devika then sneaks into the kitchen and places a coin in one of the parathas to sabotage Suman. Suman catches her and questions her actions, but Devika dismisses her, claiming she’s just looking for sugar. Suman tells her to leave, but Devika taunts her again before walking away. Malini grows worried that Devika might have tampered with the food.
As the episode progresses, Kritika pressures Devika to come up with another plan, and Devika hints that something big is about to happen. The oven then starts to spark, but Suman, focused on her work, prays and ignores the smell. Teerth arrives, and Suman jokingly says she called for God, not a devil. Teerth flirts, saying if she looks at him with love, she’ll see an angel. As she continues working, she slips, and Teerth catches her.
