Suhaagan Written Episode Update 18th August 2024: Swara’s Death Shocks Everyone
The episode begins with Swara preparing Prasad in the kitchen. Meanwhile, Koel releases a snake into the kitchen, hoping it will bite Swara. Vedant arrives and asks for his protein shake. Swara accidentally cuts her finger. Vedant quickly helps her, taking her to bandage her hand. Koel realizes the snake is missing and worries that it might bite her instead.
A woman enters the hall, picks up the snake in a jar, and leaves. Vedant finishes bandaging Swara’s finger. Swara recites some poetry and asks Vedant to praise her. Vedant then leaves. Manju notices Swara’s injured finger and asks what happened. Swara downplays it, saying it’s a minor injury. Manju gives her clothes and jewelry to wear for the puja.
Meanwhile, Dhwani worries that the snake might bite her. Koel, laughing, reassures her that the snake will only bite Swara. Dhwani asks how Koel can be sure. Koel reveals that the snake would die if it bit Dhwani, implying that it’s only meant for Swara. She then explains that the snake is in her clothes tray and that they’ll soon hear the news that the snake’s poison is in Swara’s body.
Swara gets dressed in the clothes Manju gave her. Vedant helps her with her jewelry, including earrings, a necklace, and a maang tika, while a romantic song plays in the background. He then helps her with the anklet, unaware that it has been poisoned.
During the puja, the priest asks Vedant to join Swara. They perform the Naag Panchami puja while others look on. Koel interrupts Prabha, preventing her from participating in the puja. Prabha then makes Dadi sit at the front. Swara and Vedant lead the Maha aarti, and Swara is asked to distribute the aarti plates. Vedant instructs her to give it to his mother first. Koel smirks as Swara begins to feel faint and stumbles towards her.
Swara suddenly collapses, shocking everyone. Koel and Dhwani are visibly pleased. Vedant shouts for water and Manju asks Abhi to call a doctor. Swara’s eyes are open, but she doesn’t respond. Koel pretends to be concerned, and Prabha is stunned. The doctor arrives, checks Swara, and confirms that she has passed away, leaving everyone in shock.
