The episode starts with Swara taking Prabha to Dadi’s room and offering her water, understanding that Prabha is in pain after overhearing her conversation with Vedant. Swara expresses disbelief that Vedant has a sister, and Prabha sadly confirms that he did—her daughter, Roshni. Prabha recalls how many years ago, she was falsely accused of meeting a lover while taking Roshni to the doctor, leading to her being thrown out of the house.
A flashback shows Prabha’s car breaking down on the way to the doctor, where she meets a man on the road. Meanwhile, Roshni thinks about tying a rakhi to her brother, Vedant. As Prabha walks towards a garage, another car hits her vehicle, leading to the tragic accident where she lost Roshni. Since that day, Prabha has been separated from her son and husband. Swara sympathizes, understanding the pain, and Prabha explains that Vedant has never forgiven her and avoids celebrating Rakhi because of the painful memories.
As they talk, Dadi tries to speak but struggles. Manju enters and asks Dadi if she wants to say something. Dadi starts saying “red…” and then a flashback reveals that Koel, the antagonist, was responsible for Roshni’s accident. She had deliberately hit Prabha’s car and then saved Roshni, only to use her later for her own gain. Koel cruelly manipulated Roshni, keeping her locked away and out of sight, while making Dadi incapacitated by pushing her down the stairs.
Back in the present, Dadi continues to say “red room,” and Manju realizes Dadi is trying to talk. Overjoyed, Manju is happy that Dadi can speak again. Swara, determined to help, vows to uncover the truth and help Prabha get justice.
Later, Swara goes to the storeroom to get flour, but stumbles upon Roshni, who has been locked up by Koel. Koel, who is cruel and controlling, brings food to Roshni but warns her not to defy her. When Roshni whispers her brother Vedant’s name, Koel mocks her, saying she will never be able to tie a rakhi on his hand again. Roshni, recalling a memory of tying a rakhi to Vedant, pushes Koel and tries to escape.
Roshni runs into Swara, who is shocked and asks who she is. Roshni, distressed, only says “Vedu,” “rakhi,” and “bhai” (brother). Swara realizes something is wrong and decides to help Roshni, guiding her to safety. However, Koel catches up to them, drags Roshni back, and violently restrains her, threatening to break her legs if she tries to escape again. Swara returns to find Roshni missing and is worried.
Meanwhile, Rudra is heartbroken, looking at a photo of Roshni and crying. Prabha approaches him with water, but Rudra angrily rejects her, blaming her for Roshni’s death. He can’t bear to be around her and demands that she leave. Prabha, heartbroken, stands outside crying as Rudra continues to grieve.
Vedant, also looking at Roshni’s photo, sees his father in pain and asks him what’s wrong. Rudra blames himself for not being a good father and for failing to protect Roshni. Vedant comforts him, reminding him that he has always been there for him and that even though they lost Roshni, they still have each other. He promises never to leave his father’s side and hugs him, telling him not to break down.
