Shiv Shakti Written Episode Update – 1st September 2024: Jalandhar’s Demise
The episode begins with Vrinda pleading with Narayan. She asks him to apply color to her if he believes that she ever prayed to him and Mahadev with the intention of having her husband killed. She explains that her husband chose a path of wrongdoing and accepted his fate, and she is ready to become a widow to honor his decision. Meanwhile, Mahadev confronts Jalandhar in battle. A protective shield surrounds Jalandhar, keeping him safe, and Jalandhar proudly declares that Mahadev cannot harm him.
As Narayan applies color to Vrinda’s hand, Jalandhar’s protective shield shatters. Jalandhar is left stunned. Mahadev tells him that he must put an end to wrongdoing, even if it is committed by his own son. Jalandhar, accepting his fate, says he seeks an end, not forgiveness.
Mahadev then throws his trishul, beheading Jalandhar. Jalandhar’s body falls to the ground, and Mahadev, Parvati, and Sagar Raj mourn his death. All the gods and other family members arrive to witness the scene. Shiv takes Jalandhar’s hand, while Vrinda rushes to Jalandhar’s body, crying. She asks Parvati if she gave her the bangles as her daughter-in-law and not just as a devotee. Parvati nods, confirming this. Vrinda then begs Mahadev to grant Jalandhar moksha (salvation) according to his last wish. Narayan and the others also request this of Mahadev. However, Mahadev firmly states that he will not grant Jalandhar moksha.
