The episode begins with Piyush refusing to marry again, saying he’d rather die than go through with it. Nethra laughs and warns him that Malik won’t let them die together—Piyush might die, but Nikki will survive. Malik arrives and taunts Piyush, reminding him of his family—his elderly mother, widowed sister-in-law, and mute father. He warns Piyush to think about what might happen to them after his death. Malik and Nethra leave the room.
Vikram signals Piyush, hinting that Malik can be killed. Suddenly, they hear Suguna shouting for help. They rush out to find Sumitra trapped in a magical box. Malik smugly declares that he knows Sumitra isn’t a traitor like Vikram and that she would rather die than betray him. He informs them that there’s limited oxygen in the box and tells Nikki and Piyush they must marry with an evil ritual, with Aarti between them, or Sumitra will die.
Nikki and Piyush reluctantly agree and quickly get ready for the marriage. As they start the ritual, Nikki tells Piyush she never imagined they’d have to do this. Vikram tries to communicate that Malik can be killed. Nethra brings Anjali to the ceremony. Malik hypnotizes Nikki and Piyush, and Nethra begins the marriage rituals. During the ritual, Nikki and Piyush’s ceremonial cloth (ghatbandhan) catches fire, and Nikki stops. Piyush then completes the marriage rounds with Anjali instead.
Suguna declares that Nikki and Piyush’s marriage is over. Malik, satisfied, breaks the glass box, freeing Sumitra. Malik tells Piyush that he’s taken Nikki away but given him Anjali in return.
Later, Nethra praises Malik’s plan. Nikki confronts Malik, declaring that although he broke their marriage, he can’t break their bond, as it’s connected by their souls, not just their bodies. She leaves, but Malik reveals his plan to Nethra—when Anjali goes to celebrate their wedding night with Piyush, she will kill him. If she fails, Malik himself will kill Piyush before sunrise. Nikki overhears their conversation and is horrified. She realizes she only has one hour to save Piyush.
Nikki rushes to Piyush’s room but finds it empty. She’s thrown out of the room by a magical force, and Nethra traps her with a spell. Nethra taunts Nikki, suggesting she came to watch Piyush’s wedding night. Piyush hears Nikki calling for him and demands Nethra release her. Nethra coldly tells Piyush that Nikki belongs to Malik now, not him, and closes the door.
Desperate, Nikki goes to Sumitra and pleads for help, revealing that Piyush’s life is in grave danger. Meanwhile, Anjali approaches Piyush with deadly intent.
