Shah Rukh Khan and Zayed Khan gave amazing performances in Main Hoon Na, leaving audiences impressed. Recently, Zayed shared a memory where SRK said he hoped his son, Aryan Khan, would grow up to be like Zayed.
In a conversation with Subhojit Gosh, Zayed said, “Shah bhai used to say over the mic, ‘I hope my son Aryan grows up to be like Zayed.’ I saw Aryan after a long time, and he’s looking strong now. SRK jokingly asked, ‘Want to arm wrestle?’ and I said, ‘Sure, let’s do it.’ Then Shah bhai came over and asked, ‘How is he?’ I looked at Aryan and said, ‘He’s got the spark.’ SRK asked, ‘What spark?’ I replied, ‘The 440-volt kind.'”
In an interview with Rohit Roy for RiteBite Max Protein TV, Zayed reflected on working with SRK. He mentioned that SRK is always very prepared and has great knowledge. Even though SRK gives strong performances, he never puts pressure on others. Instead, he watches carefully and always gives his best.
Zayed also remembered a special moment while filming a scene where his character, who doesn’t have a father, gives a long speech in front of SRK’s character. It was his first time acting with Kirron Kher and SRK, with Farah Khan directing and Manikandan handling the camera. Zayed said he messed up the scene three times and felt the energy on set drop, as if people were losing faith in him.
He recalled that the Jawan actor kindly approached him when he was struggling and offered to practice the lines together. Zayed agreed, and they rehearsed in a separate room. SRK advised him to do the scene in his own style, rather than a typical “filmy” way.
Zayed said that when he returned to the set, he felt more confident and nailed the scene. After the director cut the shot, there was a moment of silence, followed by applause from everyone on set.
