Sean O’Malley Fires Back at Conor McGregor: “Absolute Bully” After Mockery

The verbal battle between Conor McGregor and Sean O’Malley just keeps heating up. After several sharp comments from the UFC bantamweight champion, McGregor has finally hit back. Recently, Sean O’Malley claimed that if they fought right now, he could easily take down and defeat the Irishman. This bold statement didn’t sit well with McGregor. In response, McGregor posted a series of laughing emojis, clearly mocking O’Malley’s confidence.

This reaction from McGregor only fueled the fire. Sean O’Malley and his coach addressed McGregor’s mockery on their recent YouTube podcast. O’Malley said, “Again? What the f**k. Man, this guy is a bully. He did a laughy face? Damn, talk about someone who’s still trying to stay relevant.”

This isn’t the first time things have gotten tense between them. Interestingly, O’Malley once looked up to McGregor. He even mentioned that he wanted to follow McGregor’s footsteps by getting into celebrity boxing to make big money. But their relationship soured when McGregor mocked one of O’Malley’s explanations about banned substances. O’Malley had once tested positive for Ostarine, but he claimed it got into his system accidentally, through the sweat of other athletes.

McGregor didn’t buy that story and responded with laughing emojis, mocking O’Malley. In return, O’Malley took shots at McGregor, pointing out that McGregor hadn’t won a fight in his last two attempts and accusing him of being past his prime and a “drug addict,” referring to the rumors about McGregor’s partying and alleged drug use. O’Malley also said he’d only end the feud if McGregor apologized.

Now, O’Malley is distancing himself from McGregor’s path. While he still aims to be a financially successful athlete, he also wants to remain an active champion, unlike McGregor, who has been criticized for fighting only sporadically. O’Malley is focused on defending his title multiple times to build his legacy as a dominant MMA fighter.
