Pinkvilla had a chat with Rithvik Dhanjani about his work on the show Aapka Apna Zakir. During the conversation, Dhanjani talked about his experience on the show, working with Shweta Tiwari, his thoughts on Zakir Khan, and more.
When asked about working with Shweta Tiwari and Zakir Khan, Rithvik Dhanjani shared, “It’s been amazing. I’ve admired Shweta Tiwari for a long time. I was just a kid when she was on TV, and she’s honestly a beautiful person inside and out. I’m really excited to share the stage with her and Zakir.”
He continued, “I really admire Zakir’s talent. He’s an incredible artist, and there’s so much to learn from him. His storytelling ability is fantastic—he can take you on a journey with his words, and that’s a rare skill. I’m really looking forward to learning from him on the show, and I’m glad I’ll get the chance to do that.”
Talking about what drew him to Aapka Apna Zakir, the Pavitra Rishta actor said, “To be honest, what made me sign up for the show is that we’re trying to do something different. We want to offer something fresh for the audience, especially since there are so many comedy shows out there.”
Rithvik added, “What sets this show apart is its unique approach. The writers brought so much honesty and creativity to the table, and that’s what convinced me to join.”
When asked if his fans can expect to see him in an acting project soon, Rithvik revealed, “Yes, absolutely. In the next couple of months, they’ll see me in a new show that’s already been shot and is now in post-production. I’m really hoping the audience loves it as much as they’ve loved my previous work.”
On whether he prefers fiction or non-fiction projects, Rithvik said, “I think fiction. I love acting, and it truly makes me happy.”
