Radha Mohan 20th August 2024 Written Episode: Mohan-Radha’s Heartfelt Goodbye
The episode begins with Meera asking Kadambari if she heard everything and now knows the whole truth. Kadambari calmly says she’ll do what needs to be done and starts to make a call. Radha quickly tells her she can’t call the police, but Kadambari pulls her phone back and warns Radha. Mohan steps in, telling Kadambari to stop, saying that she has no right to call the police since they didn’t let her go to jail. Kadambari, however, continues her call, ordering someone to send her fifteen liters of chemical, explaining that they need it for deep cleaning because the house is filthy. Mohan is shocked to hear about the chemical. Kadambari explains that she knows they don’t like her, even though they allowed her to stay because of what she did.
Kadambari goes on to say that she’s the only one who can help them now. She reminds Mohan that she’s a nurse and knows how to use the chemical to dissolve Yug’s body, so there will be no trace left, making it impossible for the police to find anything. Kadambari turns to Mohan, acknowledging that he is angry with her but reminding him that she’s still his mother, who has known him for years. She understands that he didn’t do it on purpose, but they must now work together to handle the situation. She suggests they dissolve Yug’s body before anyone finds out.
Radha responds by saying that only Kadambari could think of something like this. Radha insists they must perform Yug’s last rites, explaining that if they don’t, his soul won’t be at peace. Radha says Kadambari doesn’t understand what it means for a soul to suffer, but she doesn’t want anyone else to go through that pain, so they must perform the rites. Meera acknowledges Radha’s feelings but warns that performing the last rites is risky since Yug was a criminal and deserves what they’re planning to do with his body. Radha replies that even though Yug was a criminal, now that he’s dead, his body deserves respect. Meera asks Radha to understand the risks, but Mohan supports Radha’s wish, agreeing that while Yug wronged them, they should still respect his body.
Mohan decides they’ll take Yug’s body out at night to perform the last rites, and Radha agrees.
As Mohan, Radha, Meera, and Kadambari head out, they encounter Ajeet and Ketki. Ajeet expresses his disbelief, asking if they’re really going to do this. Mohan asks if they know what’s happening, and Ajeet replies that no one else could know if they don’t. Ketki accuses Mohan of doing this because of Meera. Ketki admits that she understands Meera has a soft spot for her mother but warns that it’s wrong. She advises Mohan and Radha not to make the mistake of giving their mother a second chance. Kadambari tries to reason with Ketki, asking where she would go at this age, but Ketki sternly warns her not to act like a good person, saying she’ll never consider Kadambari their mother. Meera then takes Kadambari away.
Ketki tells Mohan and Radha that she didn’t expect this from them, especially after everything Kadambari did to them. Mohan tries to explain himself to Ketki, then tells Radha that they need to perform Yug’s last rites before anyone else finds out about the body. Meera offers to help, but Mohan refuses, saying he doesn’t want to involve her. Radha agrees, assuring Meera that they’ll take care of everything. Radha adds that once Yug’s last rites are completed, his story will be over, and they can move on with their lives. Mohan and Radha leave together, while Meera angrily returns to the house.
Kadambari, frustrated, turns to Meera and asks what she was doing. Meera replies that she was just trying to make Mohan believe she’s on his side. Kadambari warns her that she’ll suffer if someone sees them performing the last rites. Meera listens as Kadambari advises her to be smart and watch their downfall from a distance. Meera laughs, and Kadambari asks if she said something funny. Meera reveals that Kadambari made the call for the chemical from her own phone, so the police will easily trace it. Meera tells Kadambari to stop lecturing her and hope that Yug’s story ends today.
Meanwhile, Radha and Mohan stand by as Yug’s last rites are performed. Radha reflects on the day Yug fell from the building and died, forcing them to hide his body and keep his death a secret. Mohan notices Radha crying and tells her that they’ve been through a lot, but now, with Yug’s body burning, his chapter is over, and he can never harm them again. Radha says they need to scatter Yug’s ashes, but Mohan wonders if all the rituals are necessary. Radha insists they’re not criminals, and despite everything, they must ensure Yug’s soul is at peace, especially since his mother doesn’t know he’s dead. Radha vows to perform all the rituals his mother would have done because he was someone’s son.
Meera, meanwhile, plots to use all this to drive a wedge between Radha and Mohan so she can have Mohan for herself. Kadambari is deeply annoyed.
