Pukaar Dil Se Dil Tak Written Episode Update 16th August 2024: DNA Test Exposes the Truth
Lali anxiously asks Saraswathi to quickly read the report because she can’t wait any longer. Saraswathi opens the envelope, and as Mauri counts down, saying Koyal should be ready, Lali urges Saraswathi to hurry up. Saraswathi starts reading carefully and announces that Miss Saraswathi and Miss Vedika’s DNA… She suddenly falls silent, unable to say more. Lali, impatient, asks why Saraswathi is creating so much suspense and rushes over to see for herself. Rageshwari asks what Saraswathi has found. Lali reveals that the DNA did not match. Degvijay feels relieved, while everyone else is shocked. Koyal and Mauri can’t believe it, and Rageshwari signals Lali to keep quiet. Saraswathi then says that Miss Vedika Sharma is not Saraswathi Mittal’s daughter. Sagar lets go of Vedika’s hand, unable to understand what’s happening, and Suphedra is also in shock. Sagar anxiously reads the report and asks the doctor how this could happen. The doctor confirms the report, stating that Vedika Sharma’s DNA does not match Saraswathi Mittal’s, meaning Vedika is not her daughter. Vedika, in disbelief, takes the report and says it can’t be true. Rageshwari looks at Degvijay, who smiles back, knowing that the doctor had changed the report under Degvijay’s orders.
Saraswathi, distraught, insists that Vedika is her daughter. Suphedra tries to console her, while Sagar tells her to stay calm. Saraswathi, heartbroken, asks how many times her hopes will be shattered. Koyal angrily claims that this means Vedika has been lying all along.
Padma reminds Saraswathi that they found Vedika near the accident site and she had the Kalesh with her. Suphedra questions whether the report is false. Vedika says she is certain and adds that this isn’t the first time something like this has happened to them. Rageshwari angrily scolds Vedika, reminding her that she came to them with her parents and the Kalesh, but it turned out to be fake. Yet, Sagar and Saraswathi still believed in her. Rageshwari, furious, says Sagar insisted on the DNA test and arranged everything for it. Vedika tries to defend herself, but Rageshwari blames her for causing Saraswathi so much pain after giving her false hope. Sagar questions the doctor, asking if he is sure the reports weren’t tampered with. The doctor assures him that a special security guard was in place, so it’s unlikely that the report was changed. The doctor then receives a phone call and steps out of the Maheshwari Mansion to take it. Vedika, confused, says she doesn’t understand what’s going on and tries to approach Sagar. Rageshwari stops her, saying enough is enough and that she only wants to protect her daughter. She tells Vedika she should be ashamed of herself and thanks medical science for preventing someone like Vedika from fooling Saraswathi. Saraswathi, however, interrupts and says Vedika is not a liar. Her heart and maternal instinct tell her that Vedika is Jhanvi, so she doesn’t understand how the report could be negative.
Degvijay steps in, saying this is exactly what he’s been trying to say—the report can’t be wrong, so Vedika must be lying. Vedika approaches Sagar, who then rushes to sit beside Saraswathi. Himat receives a phone call and steps away to answer it. Meanwhile, Mauri suggests to Koyal that they should leave while everyone is focused on Vedika. Koyal hesitates, but when Mauri tries to leave, Lali stops them, insisting that they need to reveal the truth. Lali says that since Saraswathi isn’t in a state to read the reports herself, she will read them aloud. Sagar declares that the report is negative, meaning Koyal is a liar. However, Lali announces that Koyal is not a thief—she is Jhanvi. Rageshwari, in disbelief, reads the report herself and sees that Koyal’s DNA is indeed a match with Saraswathi’s. Saraswathi, shocked, asks what her mother just said. Lali confirms that both she and Rageshwari read it, but she still finds it hard to believe. Koyal is overjoyed, while Mauri, in disbelief, realizes she didn’t get a chance to change the report, which means Koyal is truly Saraswathi’s daughter. Mauri recalls the day she found Koyal in the bushes and now thinks that Saraswathi must have been the woman in the car with her husband. Koyal exclaims that Momsi didn’t change the report, but Mauri admits she lied earlier because she wanted Koyal to enjoy this moment. Saraswathi, still in shock, asks Rageshwari if Koyal is really her daughter. Mauri speaks up, saying she’s been trying to tell them all along that Koyal is their daughter, but she didn’t realize it herself until now. Koyal tries to explain, but Vedika refuses to believe her, calling Koyal a liar and insisting that she is Jhanvi. Sagar sides with Vedika, and Saraswathi also says she can’t trust Koyal and believes in Vedika.
Rageshwari then says she knows Saraswathi doesn’t listen to reason and that Sagar has fallen in love with Vedika. She advises him to follow his heart, but he needs to accept that Vedika is not Jhanvi but a liar. Sagar defends Vedika, saying she isn’t lying. Rageshwari, however, points out that the reports Sagar arranged say otherwise and that she isn’t the one causing all this drama. Sagar insists that Vedika is telling the truth, but Rageshwari counters by questioning Vedika’s parents, suggesting that if Vedika is honest, then her parents must be the ones lying.
