Pukaar Dil Se Dil Tak 22nd August 2024 Written Episode: Vedika’s Defiant Challenge

Mauri is walking when she’s suddenly pulled into a room. She’s shocked to see Rageshwari standing there, who quickly closes the door and warns Mauri to stay quiet. Mauri replies that she thought Rageshwari would thank her for keeping their daughter safe and bringing her back with the Kalesh. Rageshwari, however, threatens to not just slap her but throw her out of the house. Mauri reminds her that she followed Rageshwari’s orders and even put the necklace in the bag. Rageshwari warns Mauri not to talk about that day. Mauri then says that just yesterday, she was no longer seen as a thief, but as a hero. Calling her “Aunty ji,” Mauri sarcastically suggests that Rageshwari should keep getting her reports checked, and mentions how much fun they have calling her “Aunty ji.” Mauri also adds that Vedika is very clever.

Meanwhile, Vedika tells Sagar that Koyal has been sitting in her mother’s room, trying to manipulate her. Sagar, however, argues that Vedika is not Jhanvi because the Kalesh was fake. Vedika insists that Koyal stole it, but Sagar counters that Koyal wasn’t the one who mistreated his mother, and he knows that Vedika is not Jhanvi. Sagar demands that Vedika leave the room.

Back with Rageshwari and Mauri, Mauri asks if Rageshwari did something to make Vedika leave. Rageshwari tries to slap her, but Mauri insists she knows what Rageshwari has done. Sitting down, Mauri teases Rageshwari, saying she’s scared of Vedika. Mauri suggests they team up to take down Vedika. Rageshwari angrily twists Mauri’s hand, making it clear she doesn’t want any partnership with her. As Mauri leaves, she asks Rageshwari to think about her offer and plans to find out more about her to use to her advantage.

In another room, Vedika angrily throws a vase on the floor. Sagar asks if she’s lost her mind, but Vedika replies that making noise won’t turn lies into truth. Suphedra arrives at the door, worried about Sagar. Vedika opens the door, revealing the rest of the Maheshwari family, who are shocked to see her.

Degvijay questions how Vedika dared to enter his son’s room, warning her not to do it again. Vedika boldly asks what he’s going to do about it and whether Sagar would be okay with it. Vedika stops Sagar from intervening, saying she can take care of herself. Degvijay asks why she’s acting this way, and Rageshwari tries to calm him, reminding him of their family’s reputation. Vedika questions the so-called “image” of their family, accusing them of ruining the lives of simple people.

Mauri agrees with Degvijay, saying that Vedika can’t be Jhanvi and that Koyal is a well-mannered, simple girl. Vedika responds that Koyal might not be able to keep up this life much longer, to which Koyal protests, saying she hasn’t stolen anything. Vedika warns Koyal that she won’t be able to live this life for long, and Saraswathi steps in, defending Koyal as her daughter and questioning Vedika’s identity. Vedika argues that Saraswathi thinks she’s lying, and when Saraswathi confirms it, Vedika questions whether Saraswathi truly believes she’s not her daughter.

Vedika then removes Koyal’s hand from Saraswathi’s and hugs her tightly, shocking everyone. Vedika tells Saraswathi that it hurt when they called her parents liars, but now she understands why Saraswathi believed it—it’s because she’s become emotionally weak. Vedika promises to fix everything and prove that she is indeed Jhanvi. She says she’ll return to take Saraswathi away. Rageshwari asks with what right, but Vedika silences her, saying she’s talking to her mother and knows that someone tampered with her reports. Mauri tries to warn Rageshwari that Vedika is dangerous, but Rageshwari tells her to be quiet. Vedika accuses Rageshwari of being worried that she’ll stay in the house or take her grandson away. Vedika assures Rageshwari that she can have everything—the property, wealth, house, and even her grandson—but she’s only here for her mother. Vedika says there’s no point in having relationships without trust and criticizes Sagar for breaking his promise to trust her, questioning his upbringing.

Sagar says Vedika has no right to say such things, but Vedika responds that she won’t be stopped from speaking the truth. Vedika goes to Suphedra, while Sagar warns her to stay away. Vedika tells Suphedra to try and trust her, as she didn’t do anything wrong. Rageshwari insists that everyone saw what happened, but Vedika says she won’t ask Suphedra to trust her since she has also suffered and doesn’t know her true identity yet. Vedika adds that if Suphedra knew her real identity, she’d be strong, confident, and ambitious, just like her mother.

Sagar demands to know what Vedika is trying to say. Vedika declares that she won’t be pressured and will come back to take her mother away. As Vedika walks towards the door, Mauri pulls Koyal aside, telling her not to stay silent after being humiliated. She instructs Koyal to confront Vedika. Koyal tries to stop Vedika, accusing her of manipulating her mother. Vedika slaps Koyal hard, warning her to stay quiet. When Koyal protests, Vedika slaps her again for playing with her mother’s emotions. Sagar also questions Vedika, but she slaps Koyal once more. Saraswathi intervenes, asking Vedika if she’s gone mad, but Vedika explains that she was forced to get angry.

Sagar tells Vedika she doesn’t have to come to the office anymore and that she’ll receive a termination letter. Vedika calmly responds that he can’t fire her without giving her a one-month notice and that he knows she never signs a contract without reading it carefully. She then leaves, leaving Saraswathi furious.
