Pukaar Dil Se Dil Tak 20th August 2024 Written Episode: New Beginnings at Maheshwari Mansion
Vedika is crying as she sits in an auto with her parents, heading back home. She recalls the moment when Sagar let go of her hand after the reports revealed that Koyal is actually Jhanvi. Sagar then started questioning her parents along with Saraswathi. Vedika, angry, grips the frame of the auto tightly, and Kishori Lal stops Padma from comforting her.
Meanwhile, Sagar tells Saraswathi that she knows how Mauri and Koyal are—they stole the necklace and even tried to scam him when he returned. He questions how Saraswathi can believe that Koyal is Jhanvi. Saraswathi replies that Mauri and Koyal claimed their lives were difficult, but Rageshwari asks why Saraswathi can’t see that Koyal is lying. Saraswathi insists the reports support their claim. Degvijay reminds her that she also believed Vedika was Jhanvi. Saraswathi says she still feels that way. Rageshwari accuses Saraswathi of being so desperate that she would bring any stranger into their home. Saraswathi clarifies that she’s only talking about Vedika and Koyal. Degvijay signals Kamal, who gently asks Saraswathi to think calmly, as they can’t make such big decisions emotionally.
Outside the room, Koyal is nervous. Mauri asks why, and Koyal admits she feels bad lying to Saraswathi, who is already very stressed. Mauri reminds Koyal that they can’t back out now, as Himat threatened them. Saraswathi, trying to control her emotions, acknowledges that this house belongs to Rageshwari, and that Koyal and her mother, Mauri, have caused harm, even attempting to steal the Ghatashyam necklace. Saraswathi declares that she wants to take action and go to Gautham’s house with her daughter. Sagar tries to stop her, saying she can’t make such a decision, but Saraswathi insists she has made up her mind and is going to bring Koyal, who she believes is Jhanvi.
Mauri warns Koyal that if Saraswathi leaves, their plan will fail. Koyal responds that Saraswathi is still the daughter-in-law of the house. Mauri replies that no one listens to Kamal, so Koyal must refuse to leave. Sagar stops Saraswathi from knocking on the door, telling her that he understands her feelings and knows what she’s going through, but it’s not right to make such decisions now. Saraswathi admits she feels close to Koyal ever since they met. Sagar agrees, saying that’s why he wants Saraswathi to welcome Koyal into their home. Saraswathi asks if Maa would approve. Rageshwari, standing nearby, says she would. Suphedra arrives with the other family members. Saraswathi, emotional, looks at Kamal, who smiles at her, and then turns towards the room.
Vedika enters her room with her bags and starts unpacking. She looks out of the window where Sagar used to meet her and even sneak into the room. Feeling emotional, she sits on her bed, thinking about the times she spent with Sagar, how he promised never to leave her, and how he later mistreated her and her parents, demanding she leave Maheshwari Mansion. Even Saraswathi questioned her. Kishori Lal and Padma enter the room. Kishori Lal hands Vedika a book, explaining that on the day of the accident, she had a fever and they had admitted her to the hospital. They told the doctor the name they had chosen for their own daughter. Padma shows Vedika a letter from the hospital, and Vedika hugs her parents, saying she trusts them completely. She tells them to forget everything that has happened and live like they used to. Padma admits she doesn’t understand how the reports got changed. Vedika says she knows someone tampered with them, but she’s most upset that Saraswathi didn’t trust her and believed Koyal’s claim that she was Jhanvi.
Saraswathi performs the Aarti for Koyal. Sagar watches, feeling tense, remembering how Vedika was asked to leave the house. Saraswathi declares that since her daughter has returned after so long, they should give her a proper welcome. Lali, making a vlog, says that Jhanvi has finally returned. Sagar, looking at his mother, recalls how she fell because of Vedika and leaves angrily. Saraswathi says that just as her Yamini has returned, everything will now be fine. She hugs Koyal, while Mauri thinks that she and her daughter have finally secured a place in this house, and their lives will now improve. Mauri starts looking around the house, guessing the value of the items. Mauri tells Saraswathi that she thought she had found something valuable when she found her daughter. Mauri says she is handing her daughter back to Saraswathi, but Rageshwari interrupts, saying Mauri can leave if her work is done. Mauri gets emotional, saying she doesn’t know how she’ll live without Koyal but promises to visit often. Mauri pretends to faint while leaving, and Koyal hugs her tightly. Rageshwari signals to Degvijay to stay calm. Koyal says her mother is scared after spending a night in jail and that she can’t leave the mother who raised her. Koyal says she will also leave, but Saraswathi asks her not to talk about leaving. She then turns to Mauri, offering her to stay until she finds a suitable place to live. Rageshwari agrees, and Mauri says she will find a place soon. Saraswathi asks Koyal if everything is alright.
Rageshwari rushes to her room angrily and searches for her medicine. Degvijay brings it to her. Rageshwari asks what he wants to say. Degvijay suggests that Maa should have let Koyal go back to her old house. Rageshwari says she doesn’t do anything without thinking. She believes that if Vedika were here, she would have come to help. Rageshwari explains that she kept Saraswathi close because it’s good to have friends nearby, but they must keep an even closer eye on enemies. Rageshwari is concerned about how Mauri and Koyal managed to change the report. Degvijay suggests that Mauri and Koyal could be a problem, but Rageshwari says she’s not worried about them. She’s glad Saraswathi will stay, allowing her to focus on Vedika. Degvijay asks how, and Rageshwari explains that with Saraswathi occupied with Koyal, they can now focus on Vedika. She warns Degvijay not to do anything foolish, as Vedika is clever and knows she is Saraswathi’s real daughter. They must ensure Vedika is kept quiet before she makes another plan.
