Taapsee Pannu recently starred alongside Vikrant Massey and Sunny Kaushal in the romantic thriller Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba. Directed by Jayprad Desai and written by Kanika Dhillon, the film premiered on Netflix on August 9, 2024. Since its release, the movie has been receiving a lot of love from viewers. Not long ago, Netflix India shared a fun video of the cast enjoying themselves while making an Instagram reel.
In the video, two men try comically to eliminate each other to win the affection of the woman they both love. They end up fooling each other with their antics, but the woman steals the cake with a surprising and funny twist. Netflix India captioned the video with, “Ab aayi hassee, dillruba?” which translates to “Here comes the laughter, beloved?”
The video begins with Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey as the first couple having fun in a garden. However, in a playful twist with a toy gun, Massey’s character is shot by a hidden sniper. Believing he’s out of the picture, Sunny Kaushal’s character then steps in to charm the lady. But Massey was prepared for this, so he’s not actually out of the game.
The same scenario plays out with Sunny Kaushal, who is plotted against by Vikrant Massey but ends up catching on to the plan. After several attempts with no one actually getting hurt, Taapsee Pannu steps in, gives water to both men, and says goodbye to them.
The video has amused many online. Comedian Gaurav Gera joked, “They must know that Taapsee added poison to the water… part 2 will reveal,” while another commented, “Why isn’t this cringe anymore?” Saif Ali Khan’s sister, Saba Pataudi, also shared multiple funny emojis. The film is a sequel to the 2021 movie Haseen Dillruba.
On her upcoming projects, Taapsee Pannu will be featured in Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan? and was also part of the ensemble cast in Khel Khel Mein, which released on August 15.
