Parineeti Written Episode Update 13th August 2024: Neeti’s Mind Games Begin
Sanju is crying and says, “I thought I would get a chance to spend my life with my Pari again, but…” He then apologizes and says, “Sorry, I must be boring you with my love story. So, why did you call?” Pari replies, “I wanted to tell you that Mom didn’t complain because you asked her not to. But Neeti’s behavior is becoming unbearable. It’s dangerous to be around her—she’s getting crazier every day. She’s troubling us so much. You need to take action, maybe talk to a psychiatrist.” Sanju agrees and asks her to send him the number. Pari texts him the number, and Sanju thanks her. However, Neeti overhears the conversation and storms off. Sanju chases after her.
Pari calls Dr. Shukti, the psychiatrist, and asks for help. Meanwhile, Sanju tries to explain to Neeti, “Listen to me, it’s not what you think.” But Neeti is furious, “You think I’m crazy, don’t you? You trust her over me! She wants to prove that I’m mentally unstable.” Sanju tries to calm her, “I just want to help you.” Neeti snaps, “I don’t need any help! Everyone thinks now that Pari is back, you want to get rid of me by calling me crazy.” Sanju, frustrated, says, “We’re not against you. I always stood by you. I even left the party to come with you and check everything out.” He continues, “Parvati was in her room when you looked. You have to trust me. Ambika wanted to send you to jail, but I convinced her to let me consult a doctor for you instead. We’re not sending you to a mental asylum, just for a consultation.” Neeti protests, “I don’t need it!” Gurinder gently suggests, “Just give it a try.” Salojna adds, “The wire wasn’t even cut.” Sanju is surprised, “What?!” Salojna insists, “Just talk to the doctor.” Sanju then asks Neeti, “We just want to understand why you’re so obsessed with Pari.” Finally, Neeti agrees, “Okay, call the doctor,” and goes upstairs, crying.
The next morning, Pari is getting ready. She notices that her mom hasn’t had breakfast. Dai Maa encourages her, “At least you should eat something.” Dai Maa then gives her a protective thread, saying, “This will keep you safe. You take too many risks.” Pari vows, “I will make Neeti’s life so difficult that she will confess about Pari’s death.”
Neeti meets Dr. Shukti, who says, “I just want to talk and see what state she’s in.” She asks Neeti to draw the curtains. The doctor suggests hypnosis, but Neeti refuses, “No, I won’t do that. Just ask me directly.” The doctor calmly tells her to relax. Neeti, still uneasy, turns to Sanju, “What is all this?” Sanju reassures her, “She’s a doctor, she knows what she’s doing.” Pami adds, “You won’t feel better until you let her treat you.” Gurinder tells Neeti, “Don’t worry, nothing bad will happen.”
Dr. Shukti begins the hypnosis, and Neeti falls asleep. Pari arrives as the doctor asks Neeti to recall her childhood. Neeti starts reminiscing, “Pari and I are playing with dolls. We were so happy. Then, we are at a friend’s wedding, and a guy named Rakesh was eyeing Pari in a bad way. I stopped him.” Dr. Shukti asks, “What happened at the cliff where Pari fell?” Neeti starts to remember and says, “She is there… under the cliff.” Hearing this, Gurinder and Daljit get scared, and Daljit accidentally knocks over a vase, waking Neeti. The doctor is alarmed, “What have you done? Neeti came out of the treatment too soon. This could make things worse.” Neeti, now in pain, says, “I don’t want to do this anymore. My head hurts a lot.” Sanju urges her, “Let the doctor finish.” The doctor gives Neeti an injection, causing her to faint. She then says, “I need to call my team. She might get very aggressive and do something out of control. Take her to her room.” Sanju carries Neeti to her room.
Dr. Shukti advises, “Let her sleep for a while. I’ll tell you what to do next.” Pari asks Sanju, “How are you feeling?” Sanju replies, “Neeti is the one feeling things.” Pari probes, “Are you afraid Neeti might reveal something you’re hiding?” Sanju firmly denies, “I have no secrets to hide. I have never betrayed anyone. I’ve loved twice. My first love was just because my friends thought I should have a girlfriend. But when I loved Pari, I realized what true love is. That feeling never changed.” With that, he leaves the room.
