Pari says, “We have to get out of here. Think of something.” He replies, “There are fire alarms here. If we set one off, the station will get a call, and they’ll send a team. The police will be informed.” Pari says, “You’re smart.” But then she notices, “There are no fire detectors here.” He says, “I’ll find one outside.” Pari asks, “Do you smoke?” He looks surprised, “What do you mean?” She explains, “I’ve never seen you smoking.” He says, “No, I don’t smoke.” Pari then asks, “Where will you find a lighter?” He reassures her, “I’ll find it. Don’t worry.” Pari insists, “I’ll come with you.” He gently responds, “I’ll be worried about you the whole time.” Pari is determined, “I won’t let you go alone.” He says, “Don’t worry.” She pleads, “Please take care.” Sanju promises, “Trust me, I won’t let you down. I’ll be worried for you too.” Pari says, “I’ll come out if you’re in danger.” She adds, “Come back quickly, I’ll be waiting.” She holds his hand, and Sanju reassures her again, “Don’t worry.” Then, he leaves.
The goons spot Neeti and Dai Maa. Neeti tries to escape, but Dai Maa gets caught and is brought inside. Pari worries, “How will he find a lighter? I hope he’s safe. How can I help him?” Meanwhile, Sanju thinks, “She’s just like my Pari sometimes. She cares too much.” Sanju manages to get outside, but a goon sees him. Inside, Pari finds a bat and says, “This will definitely help.” The goons search different offices for Pari. When one of them confronts Sanju, he says, “Put your hands up. You’re Sanju, right?” Just then, Pari appears, but another goon catches her and takes her inside. Sanju asks the goon, “Do you smoke?” The goon answers, “Yes.” Sanju asks, “Do you have a lighter?” When the goon says yes, Sanju knocks him out and takes his gun and lighter.
Meanwhile, Dai Maa is forced to sit with the other hostages. Pari is also brought downstairs. Their leader orders her to sit down. Pari bravely asks, “Who are you people?” The leader responds, “Shut up.” Pari warns, “Let us go, or else…” The leader shoots a man and says, “This is what I can do. Now, be quiet.” Dai Maa tells Pari not to argue with them. Another goon says their man has also caught Sanju and will bring him here. Pari stands in the goon’s way, but he threatens, “Move, or I’ll shoot you.” The other goons point a gun at Dai Maa and say, “Let him go, or she gets shot.”
At the same time, a goon finds Neeti as well.
The manager runs outside and calls the police. Sanju searches for Pari but realizes she’s not in the room. He finds a working phone and calls the police too. The manager also reaches out to the police, who assure them, “We are on our way.” Sanju then encounters a goon and points a gun at him, demanding, “Who are you?” The goon confesses, “We are terrorists.” Sanju commands, “Sit here and don’t move.” The goon, trying to deceive Sanju, says, “I’m not one of them… I’m just a civilian like you.” Sanju, trusting him for a moment, says, “Oh, okay.” But the goon quickly takes the gun from Sanju and points it at him.
