Parineeti 22nd August 2024 Written Episode: Daljit and Babli’s Engagement Celebration
The episode begins with Sanju questioning Neeti about her overreaction, but she leaves without explaining. Soon after, Babli arrives with Gurpreet and excitedly hugs her, calling her “di.” Neeti tells Gurpreet that Pari always keeps pepper spray in her bag. Neeti suspects that if Pari still has it, then she must be hiding something, and she plans to show it to Sanju to prove her point.
Meanwhile, Daljit is chatting with his friends, who compliment his “bhabhi” (sister-in-law), calling her cute. A waiter accidentally spills a drink on Pari’s feet, drawing Sanju’s attention. Neeti and Gurpreet notice Sanju watching Pari. Sanju asks Pari if something is bothering her, but she insists that she’s fine. Sanju then decides to make an announcement.
Daljit, drinking with his friends, reveals his true intentions—he only plans to have fun with Babli and get the property that comes with marrying her, intending to dominate her.
Gurpreet warns Babli to be cautious, and Gurinder, noticing their worry, advises them to stay calm and not let others suspect anything. Gurpreet agrees, expressing her reluctance to tarnish their family’s reputation. Gurinder then assures them that everything will be fine, as she has arranged for Babli to marry Daljit, who she believes is a good man. However, Babli protests, calling Daljit a disgusting person and saying she doesn’t want to marry him. Gurinder reminds Babli that she should have thought of that before getting involved with him and insists she should be thankful he’s willing to marry her. Gurpreet agrees with Gurinder, but Babli is still reluctant. Gurinder then asks where Vikram is.
In another scene, Daljit’s friend teases him, saying Sanju, being his boss, won’t allow him to misbehave. Daljit, however, boasts that not even Sanju can stop him from making Babli dance, showing he’s not afraid of Sanju at all.
