Parineeti 21st August 2024 Written Episode: Babli’s Life-Changing Decision
Scene 1
Pari tells Babli not to be afraid of anyone and asks her directly if she really wants to go through with the wedding. Babli says she does want to get married. Neeti then chimes in, asking if Pari is satisfied now and telling her to leave. She adds that Babli and Daljit are getting engaged tomorrow and that Pari is invited. Pari leaves, crying and feeling upset about Babli. She wonders why this is happening and vows to stop the wedding. “I have to save Babli,” she tells herself.
Neeti, meanwhile, warns Babli not to back out of the wedding. She tells her not to let Pari influence her and not to cross any lines this time. Neeti reminds Babli of what she’s capable of doing to her and her family and orders her to get ready for the engagement. Neeti also tells Daljit to keep an eye on Babli, and he assures her that he will. Daljit compliments Neeti on her cunning, saying she always outsmarts Pari. Neeti then promises to reward him with property for going through with the wedding, adding that she’s sure Pari will try to disrupt the engagement.
Scene 2
Pami and Sanju visit Pari at home. When Pari arrives, Pami asks if she’s okay. Pari says she’s fine, but Sanju expresses concern, saying he was really worried about her. Pari insists she’s fine, but Sanju presses on, saying she doesn’t look okay and asking if something is bothering her. Pari tells him not to worry, but he insists on knowing what’s troubling her, saying he would do anything to make her happy. Pari tries to brush him off, but he takes her hand and assures her that he will support her, that she can trust him, and that no one understands her better than he does. Pari pulls her hand away and tells him never to hold it again before walking away. Pami then suggests to Sanju that they should go home.
Scene 3
Neeti calls Pari, telling her to wake up because it’s Babli’s engagement day. She asks if Pari is coming, saying they need to plan accordingly. Neeti reassures Pari that Babli is like a sister to her and that she has chosen a good guy for Babli, so her life is set. She urges Pari not to worry and to come to the engagement.
As the engagement begins, Gurinder and Salojna welcome the guests. Babli pleads with Gurpreet to stop the engagement, saying it will ruin her life, but Gurpreet reminds her that she should have thought about that before getting involved with Daljit. Pami tells Sanju that this must be the reason why Pari was so stressed and insists that Babli shouldn’t marry Daljit. Sanju agrees but says it’s out of his control and that the engagement is happening to protect Babli’s reputation.
Sanju then confronts Daljit, telling him that Babli isn’t happy about the wedding. Daljit, however, says the wedding will happen regardless. Sanju warns him that if anything bad happens to Babli after the wedding, he won’t forgive him, insisting that he only wants to see her happy.
Later, as the engagement is underway, Pari arrives. Neeti welcomes her, but as Pari enters, she trips and falls. Sanju rushes to catch her, which makes Neeti angry as she watches them together.
