Mishri 5th September 2024 Written Episode Update: Mishri Stands Up to Raghav’s Accusations
Sulekha orders Mishri to drink dirty water, but Mishri refuses. She tells Sulekha that she doesn’t want to be the daughter-in-law of the house and that dirty water won’t cleanse her. Instead, Mishri brings Ganga water, saying it’s pure and better for cleansing. Mishri challenges Sulekha, asking why she’s called dirty just for cleaning the house. She points out that Parvathi gets her hands dirty while cooking for the family, but no one calls her dirty. Mishri adds that Sulekha goes to the temple often—does she think the dust on her feet is dirty? She even mentions people bathe in the Yamuna to wash away sins, yet the river isn’t considered dirty. Mishri stands firm, refusing to let Sulekha insult her.
Meanwhile, Chithra records everything on her phone and plays it in front of Mishri. Mishri asks why she needed to record it. Chithra replies that Mishri doesn’t seem to want to stay in the house or be the daughter-in-law, and no one else wants her there either. Chithra threatens to send the recording to Mishri’s grandmother. Mishri pleads with her not to, but Chithra forces her to drink the dirty water. Just as Mishri is about to drink, Raghav steps in and knocks the water away.
Sulekha claims she was only taking revenge on Mishri for Raghav, but Raghav says this isn’t the way to handle things. He tells his family that even though he and Mishri are having problems, he won’t let them torture her. He reminds them that Mishri is his wife, and it’s his responsibility to deal with her, not theirs. Vaani, watching this, accuses Mishri of calling her just to show her this drama. Kalpana tells Vaani she should never have trusted Mishri.
Mishri tries to explain to Vaani, but Vaani gets angry and tells her to stay away. Vaani warns Mishri that if she doesn’t back off, she’ll do something drastic to hurt Raghav. She also tells Raghav she didn’t expect this from him and threatens to file a complaint against him.
Later, Sulekha is seen praying for Raghav at the temple. She refuses to give prasad to Mishri, saying she’s not part of the family. Sulekha asks Parvathi to make breakfast, while Supriya offers Mishri an aarti, saying she needs it. Supriya also gives her a gift before leaving.
Mishri tries to call Vaani and thanks Raghav for standing up for her. Raghav quickly corrects her, saying he didn’t do it for her, but for himself. He tells Mishri not to think he supported her out of care. Raghav says he only stopped his family from hurting her because he believes it’s his right to deal with her, not theirs. He warns Mishri this is just the beginning and reminds her of his hatred. When Mishri says she has equal rights in their room, Raghav tells her to mind her own business.
Later, Ranjith uses Raghav’s phone to call the inspector to check on the investigation. He finds out that the CCTV footage is unclear, and he decides he must get rid of Mishri before more evidence comes up. Meanwhile, Mishri uses the perfume Supriya gifted her, and Raghav sarcastically shows her how to apply it, saying she can hide her scent but not the dirt in her heart. At that moment, the police arrive to arrest Raghav.
