Mishri 31st August 2024 Written Episode: Plan’s Unintended Consequences
Ranjith threatens Mishri, saying he will send her marriage certificate to Raghav’s family. He mocks her, reminding her that she is working as a servant in their house. He asks her how they will react when they discover she is actually their daughter-in-law. And what about Vaani? Ranjith demands that Mishri withdraw her complaint against him, giving her a chance to escape this situation. Left with no choice, Mishri signs the form, and Ranjith leaves.
Meanwhile, Vaani is worried about Raghav. She notices he isn’t answering her calls, and Mishri’s phone is switched off, which is unusual for her. Concerned, she decides to find out what’s happening. Kalpana brushes off her worries, saying Mishri is just a servant, but Vaani insists on checking on her.
Later, Mishri hears news about violence against women and people talking about how girls are often seen as weak. While she is thinking about this, she sees two men snatch a girl’s dupatta while riding by on a bike. Mishri immediately steps in, fights off the men, and drives them away. She then advises the girl to be careful.
This incident makes Mishri think about her own struggles—how her aunt tortured her, how her uncle forced her into marriage, and how Ranjith insulted her, looking down on her just because she is a woman. Mishri realizes she is not a coward and decides to fight back. Although she initially thought of sparing Ranjith for Raghav and Vaani’s sake, she now knows she must take action. She sees Ranjith giving a chocolate to a child and, in a fit of anger, breaks a glass in his hand and attacks him with a bicycle chain. As Ranjith falls to the ground, Mishri tears up the form she had signed. She tells him that she considered letting him go for Raghav and Vaani, but now she knows he deserves to be punished. She condemns him for not respecting women and thinking they are all cowards. She continues to beat him.
At the same time, Vaani arrives at Raghav’s house and looks for Mishri. She angrily accuses the family of not caring about Mishri’s well-being and treating her like a servant. Kalpana calls Vaani, telling her not to meet Raghav, but Vaani disconnects the call in frustration.
Meanwhile, Mishri confronts Ranjith, telling him she doesn’t care if the truth comes out, but she won’t let him betray anyone again. She warns him never to harm another woman and says he deserves to go to jail for what he has done. When Ranjith threatens to send the marriage certificate to her family, Mishri attacks him again. She throws his phone away in anger and ties him up, determined to expose him. But Ranjith fights back, hitting her with his head and then attacking her with a brick, causing Mishri to fall. Despite this, Mishri stays strong, determined to make him pay.
Back at the house, Vaani lashes out at Sulekha, who suggests filing a complaint. Vaani brushes it off, and just as she is about to collapse, Raghav catches her. He coldly tells her that Mishri has gone far away because she is just a servant. Vaani, enraged, asks who gave him the right to send Mishri away. “Who is he to her?” she demands. Just then, Mishri steps in, declaring, “He is my husband.”
In the precap, Mishri tells Vaani the truth about her and Raghav and shows her their wedding certificate. Vaani slaps Mishri.
