Mishri 23rd August 2024 Written Episode: Vani’s Sisterly Love Shines
Parvati scolds Kalpana for getting involved in their family issues and tells her it’s not her place to decide whether Mishri should stay in the house. Kalpana, angry, accuses Sulekha of ruining her life and now supporting Mishri, whom she sees as a servant, in ruining her daughter’s life too. She turns to Vaani, asking why she’s staying silent, and warns her that Mishri will steal Raghav from her. Sulekha steps in and tells them to stop, warning Parvati not to create more problems. She then asks Raghav to swear that he has no relationship with Mishri to clear up this misunderstanding once and for all.
But Vaani says she doesn’t need to hear anything more—she’s heard enough. She grabs Mishri’s hand and leads her to the door, telling her to leave the house. Everyone is shocked. Vaani explains that this family doesn’t deserve Mishri and that Mishri shouldn’t stay where she isn’t respected.
Vaani then criticizes the family, saying they have low-minded thoughts and can’t see Mishri’s true character. They don’t respect her dignity. Vaani tells them that Mishri trusted them to support her, but instead, they questioned her character, showing their true colors. Kalpana argues that Vaani shouldn’t trust Mishri, but Vaani counters, saying she’s ashamed to have a mother with such narrow thinking. She also criticizes Sulekha, accusing her of being stuck in old beliefs and forgetting that she’s a woman too. Vaani asks how Sulekha would react if someone in her family faced the same situation, pointing out that women are always blamed, whether it’s for their clothing or behavior. Vaani assures Mishri that she doesn’t care what the family thinks of her and promises to support her in finding the real culprit.
Ranjith gets nervous hearing this. Vaani tells Mishri that although Mishri once saved her life, she couldn’t be there for her when Mishri needed help. But now, she will stand by her and make sure they find the culprit. Vaani feels relieved that Raghav supported Mishri and took a stand for her. She then brings an aarti plate, ties a rakhi on Mishri’s wrist, and accepts her as a sister. Mishri, touched by this, promises to do anything for her.
Mishri asks Vaani for a gift, and when Kalpana criticizes her, Mishri asks Vaani to clear up the misunderstanding and agree to marry Raghav. Raghav is surprised but happy. Mishri places Vaani’s hand in Raghav’s, saying she always saw them arguing but knows their hearts beat for each other. She wants things to go back to how they used to be and asks Raghav if he’s ready to marry her. He nods, and they embrace. Sulekha agrees to arrange their wedding.
Parvati asks Vaani to let Mishri stay, saying she can’t handle all the work alone. Vaani agrees and even says Mishri can stay after the wedding too, promising to find her a good husband. Mishri feels content hearing this. Chithra, frustrated that her plans failed, vows not to give up.
Later, Raghav apologizes to Mishri for misunderstanding her. Mishri says she’ll now focus on her studies and tells him to concentrate on his wedding. After all the problems, things finally go back to normal between them. She playfully tells Raghav not to visit a servant’s room again, leaving him emotional.
