Mera Balam Thanedaar Written Episode Update – 9th September 2024: Mahant ji’s Savior
The episode starts with Veer saying he will meet the psychiatrist. Bulbul, worried that Siddharth is there and Vani might reveal his presence to the police, stops Veer and tells him the doctor wants to meet Vani alone. Veer insists, saying as her brother, he can meet the doctor. Bulbul, unsure of what to do, follows him and calls out to the police loudly, warning Siddharth. Veer enters and sees the doctor making Vani write letters. Just then, Bulbul comes in and distracts Veer by telling him that Dhristi is troubling her. Veer steps out, concerned, and asks if Dhristi said something. Bulbul, pretending to be worried, says she’s anxious about their mother. Veer assures her that everything will be fine and says he’ll meet the doctor. Bulbul then tells him that their mother is calling him, and at that moment, Sulakshana calls Veer, pulling him away.
Bulbul returns to the room and urges Siddharth to leave quickly, joking that if he stays any longer, she’ll need a heart specialist. Vani playfully says she’ll soon become a doctor. Siddharth is happy to see Vani improving and promises to come back before leaving.
Later, Bulbul overhears the pandit worrying about Mahant ji and rushes over. The pandit asks if they added makhana to the food, and Dhristi says she did, following Bulbul’s instructions. She shows a list from Bulbul given to Sulakshana. Bulbul tries to help by offering Mahant ji pineapple juice, but a lady scolds her, stopping her from doing more. Bulbul insists they focus on saving Mahant ji’s life. Veer takes Mahant ji to the car, while some ladies gossip, accusing Bulbul of ruining her sister’s reputation. Dhristi signals Vishesh, who tells everyone that Bulbul doesn’t deserve the house keys because she’s immature. The ladies ask Sulakshana to give the keys to Dhristi, but Sulakshana defends Bulbul, saying she’s never seen a better daughter-in-law. The ladies insult Sulakshana, and Bulbul apologizes on her behalf, begging them not to speak ill of her mother-in-law.
Vishesh insists that Bulbul hand over the keys to Dhristi, and Dhristi snatches them from her. Bulbul looks at Vishesh in disbelief, and Vardhan feels this isn’t right.
Dhristi thanks Bulbul, reminding her that she said the key chain would be hers. She warns Bulbul not to mess with her again. Bulbul, heartbroken, looks at Sulakshana and others, then begins to cry. The pandit, furious, curses Bulbul, saying she will bring misery to her family. The other ladies leave, afraid of the curse.
Just then, Mahant ji returns, healthy. The pandit is shocked and asks if Mahant ji is really okay. Veer recalls how Bulbul’s home remedy worked again. Mahant ji praises Bulbul, saying she gave him a new life and scolds the pandit for cursing her. He declares that the hands that save lives can never take one. He blesses Bulbul, saying she is a blessing to the family and will protect them from harm. He wishes her all the happiness and strength to face challenges. Bulbul touches his feet as Mahant ji and the other pandits leave.
Sulakshana, filled with gratitude, thanks Bulbul for turning a curse into a blessing and touches her feet. Bulbul, embarrassed, asks her to stop, saying it’s sinful for her mother-in-law to do such a thing. Sulakshana calls Bulbul a goddess and says she knows Bulbul would never do anything wrong. She adds that she never believed Bulbul told Dhristi to add makhana to the food. Bulbul asks Sulakshana to keep blessing her and correct her if she ever makes a mistake.
Veer approaches Bulbul and kisses her hand, while Vayu and Varnika smile happily. As Dhristi starts to leave, Bulbul stops her. She tells Dhristi that she stayed silent for the family’s honor but didn’t expect her to risk someone’s life just for the house keys. Bulbul confidently declares that she knew Mahant ji would be fine and challenges Dhristi, vowing to take back the keys within 24 hours. It’s Bulbul’s promise.
