Mera Balam Thanedaar 23rd August 2024 Written Episode: Love Triangle Intensifies
The episode starts with Veer showing his battle scars and explaining that they are like medals for a policeman. Then, he kisses Bulbul on the cheek while looking into her eyes. Bulbul smiles, and Veer thinks to himself that her smile and innocence are the best. Just then, a nurse enters the room. Veer then asks Vani to come quickly and tie rakhis. He tells Sulakshana that after the rakhi ceremony, he will visit Bulbul in the hospital. Vani comes and ties a rakhi to Vishesh, then goes to Vayu, ignoring Veer. She ties a rakhi to Vayu, and Veer wonders if Vani is saving his rakhi for last. He asks Vani if she is going to tie a rakhi on him. Vani tells him that she has brought a couple’s rakhi for both him and Bulbul and insists that he take her to the hospital to see Bulbul. Veer agrees and tells Sulakshana that they will go to the hospital so Vani can tie the rakhi to both him and Bulbul. Sulakshana reminds him that Vani tends to remember her past when she visits the hospital. Veer says they should leave the past behind.
They arrive at the hospital. Vani asks about the sweets, and Sulakshana says they brought sweets for Bulbul. Vani says she wants chocolate instead, so Veer asks Vayu to take her to the cafeteria to get some. When they meet Bulbul, Veer tells her that his mother made kheer for her. Bulbul notices that Veer and Vani don’t have rakhis on their hands. Veer explains that Vani brought a couple’s rakhi and wants to tie it to both of them. Just then, a nurse arrives and tells Bulbul she needs to go for an MRI scan, as the doctor has requested it. Veer tells Bulbul that he will accompany her.
Meanwhile, Vayu asks Vani to wait for him while he talks to Vishesh. Vani sees Dr. Jain, whom she calls Siddhu, and rushes to hug him, crying. Dr. Jain also cries, and Bulbul notices them together. Dr. Jain silently asks Bulbul not to tell Veer about this. He then leaves. Vani, still upset, says she wants her doctor. Veer arrives and asks Vayu where he had gone, leaving Vani alone. Vayu explains that he was on a call with Vishesh. Sulakshana, seeing Vani distressed, says this is why she didn’t want to bring Vani to the hospital, as it brings back memories. Veer tries to distract Vani by asking her to tie the couple’s rakhi to Bulbul and him.
Dr. Jain is heartbroken, thinking about Vani’s condition and their past together. The nurse hands him Bulbul’s report. Back in the room, Sulakshana encourages Vani to tie the rakhi to Veer and Bulbul. Veer calls Vani over, and she ties the rakhi to Veer and then to Bulbul. Bulbul starts to wonder if there is a deeper connection between Dr. Jain and Vani. After the rakhi is tied, Vani gives them chocolates as a gift, and Vayu takes a photo of them. Veer mentions that they will get a special gift at home. Sulakshana suggests they head home, but Vani insists on meeting her doctor. Sulakshana refuses, saying she will not meet anyone. Veer reassures Vani that Bulbul will be discharged soon, and they will all go home together. However, Vani keeps asking about her doctor.
Bulbul tries to comfort Vani by asking if she doesn’t love her. Vani hugs Bulbul tightly, assuring her that she loves her very much. Bulbul asks Vani to keep quiet and wait outside. As Vani leaves, Bulbul wonders why Vani is so distressed. She asks Veer why Sulakshana got upset when Vani mentioned her doctor. Veer reveals that the doctor, who was Vyom’s father, is responsible for Vani’s condition. Back then, he was still a medical student. Bulbul realizes that Dr. Jain is the doctor in question and concludes that he must feel guilty, which is why he was trying to hide. She is shocked and disgusted, realizing that the person she once thought of as a god is, in fact, a devil.
