Mehndi Wala Ghar Written Episode Update 9th August 2024: Love Triumphs in a Happy Union
The episode starts with Janki bringing Tanvi home and tying a sacred thread (Mauli) on her hand. A woman comes in with her son and angrily accuses them of hurting her child. Vijay stands up for Tanvi and scolds the woman, who then leaves with her son. Tanvi thanks Vijay for his support. She then asks Mauli and Rahul to fetch some mehendi leaves. When they return, she stops them at the door and asks Jyoti to bring the special chunri (veil) she made for Mauli. Tanvi welcomes Mauli warmly and admits that she was wrong to insult her love. She apologizes, but Mauli asks for her blessings instead. Tanvi hugs Mauli and Rahul, saying she finally understands how good Mauli is and how she changed their thinking. Mauli also hugs Manoj. Ajanta congratulates Mauli, saying she truly is the best. Tanvi then places Mauli’s hand in Rahul’s and prays for their happiness in marriage. Everyone is happy.
Later, Akshay arrives and asks what’s going on. Janki shares the good news with him. Akshay mentions he has paid the contractor, who will start work next week. Hari congratulates him, saying soon everyone will have their own room. Golu suggests they should celebrate since everyone is feeling better. They start dancing to the beat of the dhol.
That night, Rahul enters his room and sees it romantically decorated. Mauli surprises him, and they share a light moment before getting close. Meanwhile, Ajanta tries calling Manas but gets no answer. Manoj notices and asks her if she upset. She says no, she’s actually happy for Mauli, who has won Tanvi heart. Manoj reminds her that Mauli wants to win her heart too. He hands her a file, explaining that he had gifted some properties to Mauli, but Mauli transferred them to Ajanta and Manas. He hopes she now realizes how much Mauli loves her.
The next morning, Janki decides to cook. Jyoti warns her to be careful. Mauli checks on her, asking if she feeling okay. Janki insists she fine, but Mauli suggests getting her eyes checked since it’s normal to have vision problems at her age. Janki dismisses the idea, saying she perfectly healthy. After Janki leaves, Mauli tells Jyoti that she’s certain Janki needs glasses. Jyoti agrees, saying they need to find a solution before something bad happens.
Later, Janki goes to light a diya (lamp), but Mauli notices she’s having trouble seeing. Worried, Mauli thinks that Janki eyesight is getting worse and she needs to do something about it. Janki tells her to leave, but Rahul comes in, joking that he’s sick with love and wants to sleep. Mauli tells him Janki is in denial about her health. Ajanta joins them, and Mauli shares her concerns about getting Janki eyes checked. Ajanta apologizes for how she and Manas treated Mauli, acknowledging that Mauli has always loved her. She promises to make it up to Mauli, and they hug. Ajanta then suggests an idea to get Janki eyes checked.
When Janki calls everyone for Aarti (prayer), Mauli suggests a specific prayer and Ajanta secretly hides the prayer book. Mauli asks Janki to read from a cardboard sign instead. When Janki struggles to read it, Mauli gently tells her that she needs glasses.
Janki realizes that Mauli was testing her eyes. Although she resists at first, saying she doesn’t want to wear glasses, everyone around her puts on glasses and smiles. Mauli reassures her that there’s no harm in wearing specs. Hari adds that she looks even prettier with them on. Eventually, Janki agrees to wear glasses, and Manoj brings her a pair. Janki then announces that she wants to pass on the family responsibilities to the younger generation. Mauli reveals that it was Ajanta idea to help Janki accept glasses. Ajanta praises Mauli, saying she deserves to lead the family because she has united them all. Janki hands Mauli the keys to the house, assuring her that her four mothers-in-law will always be there to support her, and that she herself will guide her. Mauli gratefully accepts Janki blessings, and everyone applauds.
A year later, Vijay is seen taking care of his daughter, expressing how it was his dream to have a baby girl. Tanvi, Janki, and Hari take turns holding the baby, while Manoj eagerly waits for his turn. Everyone showers the baby with love. Rahul brings Mauli into the room, and she happily announces that she is pregnant, playfully claiming the baby as hers. Golu suggests they take a selfie, and everyone gathers to capture the joyful moment together, all smiling warmly.
