Megha Barsenge Written Episode Update 17th August 2024: Manoj’s Lucky Break
The episode begins with the doctor telling Megha to take care of Kavita. Megha says she’ll handle everything. Kohli thanks Surinder with a hug. Kripal gets a chips packet and says Kavita is eating this after her operation, but Kohli says he was eating it. Ranjeeta is packing clothes and tells Megha that Kripal should take the two suitcases to Manoj’s house. Megha puts a nightie into a bag. Riya asks about it, and Megha explains before Ranjeeta smiles and puts it away.
Kavita says she wants to do exercise. Manoj and Kohli watch her. Kripal arrives and greets everyone, informing them that the doctor said Kavita cannot remove her back support. Surinder arrives too. Kavita falls, and they help her into a wheelchair. Surinder asks what they are doing, and Manoj explains that Kavita needs to exercise. Kripal confirms he saw her doing it. Kavita insists she wants to dance at her son’s wedding, despite the doctor’s advice. Surinder understands but says they need to head home and make preparations. Surinder and Kripal leave. Manoj and Kohli scold Kavita, worried about what others will think.
Kripal and Surinder return home. Kripal mentions Kavita falling from the wheelchair. Megha asks what happened, and Kripal comments on Kavita’s stubbornness. Manoj calls Megha, asking if Kripal arrived. She says yes and asks if everything is okay. Manoj mentions the suitcase and says they will be together tomorrow, asking if she is excited or nervous. Megha responds that she is not nervous. Manoj reassures her about the visa and ticket arrangements, asking her to say “I love you.” She does, and he says it back before ending the call with a smile.
Megha gets ready for her wedding, and Sonam and Riya hug her. Manoj receives a call asking for the OTP from Megha’s phone. Manoj says he’ll provide it tomorrow. The caller insists it’s a computer-generated OTP. Megha receives multiple messages and starts to worry. Goldie greets Manoj and his family at the Gurudwara. Manoj sees Megha and looks concerned. Megha explains she received many messages and couldn’t check them all. Manoj had asked Kohli to send numerous messages to distract Megha from any loan messages.
Inside the Gurudwara, Megha and Manoj pray together. The caller asks Manoj to complete the transaction. Manoj plans to take Megha’s phone and asks her to freshen up. He tells Sonam to accompany Megha and hands her the purse and phone. Sonam agrees and leaves. Manoj checks the messages and gets the OTP. He receives a call, and Megha arrives, asking about it. She answers Simran’s call and steps away. Kohli asks if the transaction is complete. Manoj confirms that 15 lakhs have been transferred but is concerned Megha might see the loan message. Megha checks her message and sees the 15 lakhs, confused since she didn’t apply for any loan. Manoj explains that he had asked a friend to transfer the money to her account for her visa and their wedding. Megha smiles, and they all enjoy the food. Jassi arrives and greets them. Manoj introduces Jassi, who says she is with Gurpreet, shocking everyone.
