Megha Barsenge Written Episode Update 11th August 2024: Manoj Kind Gesture for Megha Family
The episode begins with Manoj and Kavita arriving home. Goldie tells Ranjeeta to apologize. Surinder quickly apologizes to Manoj and Kavita. Kavita asks why, and Goldie says there’s no reason, it’s just that Surinder often apologizes even when there’s nothing wrong. Kavita then expresses her frustration, saying they’ve come to discuss the wedding date and that there should be more excitement about the upcoming functions. Goldie quickly apologizes and agrees to whatever date they choose.
Manoj notices Megha and smiles. He mentions he left his card on the terrace and asks if Megha can help him find it. Goldie encourages Megha to assist him. On the terrace, Megha tells Manoj she doesn’t see the card and asks what color it is. He replies pink, and she notices she wearing a pink dress. Manoj then says he found it and asks why she seems worried. Megha shares that she was upset when he left so suddenly and that she tried to call him, but his phone was off. Manoj explains that he got a call from Georgia and his phone battery died. Megha jokingly asks if it was his battery or the phone, making him laugh.
She then brings up the topic of money, but Manoj stops her, saying that she and her family are important to him, not money. He assures her that she doesn’t need to worry about money and that he will support her in every decision. Megha smiles, and Manoj suggests they go for coffee, calling her his future wife. Megha apologizes, saying she has to attend Sonam sangeet the next day. Manoj jokes about Sonam always coming between them and says he’ll come to the event for dinner, even though he hasn’t been invited. Megha shyly tells him that he’s now her responsibility. Manoj holds her hand, and she leaves shyly.
Back downstairs, Sonia expresses relief, saying they were worried. Kavita asks why, and Goldie dismisses it as Sonia being silly. Kripal mentions they will have a grand wedding and that his mother has even checked out their neighborhood. Kavita gets angry and scolds them. Just then, Manoj and Megha return downstairs.
Megha defends her mother, asking Kavita not to speak to her like that. Goldie tells Megha to be quiet, but Megha insists that Manoj should say something to Kavita. Kavita continues to argue, saying she was never fond of this match but is only considering it because her son fell in love with their daughter. She asks Manoj to see how they are being insulted. Kavita tells Manoj to leave with her.
Manoj calmly explains that they are not being insulted and that it’s normal to make inquiries before a marriage. He says they would do the same if he had a sister. Ranjeeta apologizes, but Manoj asks her to stop and just focus on the wedding preparations. He tells Kavita to calm down, and she reluctantly agrees. Manoj then says it’s time for them to leave. After they go, Ranjeeta tells Megha that she lucky to have a partner like Manoj. Sonia teases Megha about Manoj, and Megha smiles, thinking about him.
On their way home, Manoj receives a call and gets irritated. Kavita asks him what he sees in Megha, saying she seems foolish. Manoj glares at her, making her quiet. When they get home, Kavita starts arguing again. Manoj firmly tells her to stop, saying that he’s not a fool and that it’s important for Megha to be in his life. He declares that he won’t let anyone come between them, and Kavita finally nods in agreement.
Goldie reassures Kavita, saying it’s good she made inquiries because she a mother and that once Megha becomes an NRI, she can bring Kripal abroad. Surinder adds that they need to secure Megha future, and even though she trusts Manoj, she knows there’s always a risk, especially in a place like Amritsar.
Later, Megha and her family attend Sonam haldi ceremony. Sonam mother asks Surinder to perform the Mama ritual. Surinder and Ranjeeta put bangles on Sonam, and when Sonam kaleerein falls over Megha, everyone claps. Meanwhile, an inspector arrives with good news, saying they’ve found a girl who can identify the fraud groom and that she’ll be arriving in an hour. Arjun tells him to cancel Ranjeeta leave and bring her in, thinking that they will finally catch the fraud groom today. Manoj then arrives at the function.
