The episode starts with a man praying at the Gurudwara for his daughter. Meanwhile, a girl is seen playing music and dancing on the terrace. Jassi calls out to her and tells her that Gurpreet is coming to take her away. The girl, who is Megha, asks Jassi to lie to her family that she not there, saying they think she is mad and that Gurpreet will never return. Megha then starts crying.
The neighbors, out for a jog, taunt Jassi. Megha confronts them, but her dad interrupts, telling her not to worry and to make fresh mango milkshake for Manoj parents with the fresh milk he bought. Megha chats with her friends online about the guy family visiting her today. Megha mum advises her husband not to set conditions for the prospective groom family, mentioning that the groom is an NRI living in Georgia and that if Megha marries him, her life will be set. He assures her that he will handle the details and asks her to be patient.
Goldie Bua makes a reel and argues with a storekeeper. She returns home, notices a bruise on Megha’s hand, and blames Jassi for it, insisting that Megha needs to look beautiful for the visit. Megha becomes worried as Manoj and his family arrive. Manoj smiles at Megha and they wave to each other. Feeling shy, she leaves.
Manoj talks about his job in a mall in Georgia, but Jeetu says their neighbor found out he doesn’t work in that mall. Manoj clarifies there are two malls and he works in the second one. Goldie mentions she is a choreographer, and Megha says she teaches dance. Goldie then asks Megha to show Manoj around the house. They go to the rooftop, where she drinks mango milkshake. He gives her a kerchief and reassures her that she looks beautiful despite her nervousness. They chat and she smiles.
Jeetu introduces himself as an assistant sub-inspector. Manoj dad questions why Megha dad isn’t speaking much. He mentions that they don’t want dowry but would like a grand wedding. Goldie stops Megha dad from objecting, saying it’s time for his insulin and takes him to the room, reminding him to stay quiet. She insists she doesn’t trust him to not spoil Megha marriage prospects.
On the rooftop, Manoj asks Megha how she would handle losing her favorite place and missing festivals if she marries him and moves abroad. Megha explains that girls are taught from childhood to adjust to changes. He assures her that with wifi in Georgia, she can call her parents whenever she wants. She smiles.
Back downstairs, Manoj nods, signaling his approval. Everyone celebrates by feeding him sweets. Megha looks for her dad and finds him in a locked room. She asks him to decide about the marriage. He reveals they have 25 lakhs saved for Megha and only wants to spend one lakh on the wedding at the Gurudwara, using the rest to secure her future. Manoj mum questions where the guests will eat, and Megha dad says they can have Langar prasad. He criticizes extravagant weddings where guests gossip and wants to ensure Megha future instead.
Manoj parents insist on maintaining their standards, but Megha family stands firm. Manoj mum and dad leave, but Manoj stays seated until his dad calls him. As he leaves, he exchanges a glance with Megha in the balcony. “Ranjha” plays in the background.
Megha, disappointed, cries and hugs her dad, expressing her hopes were high for Manoj. Her dad reassures her that everything will be fine and blesses her.
