Mangal Lakshmi 22nd September 2024 Written Episode Update: Soumya’s Desperate Move
Scene 1
Karthik says, “Come on, let’s go.” Lakshmi replies, “Adit bought this saree for Mangal, and he said he got it from a shop near Chandni Chowk.” Karthik reassures her, “There are many sarees like that in the market. Don’t worry about it. Just focus on the wedding. I know you’ll look the best.” Lakshmi leaves.
Shanti tells Soumya to decorate the house, but Soumya feels annoyed. Shanti insists, “Put up the roses, it’s my daughter’s wedding.” She adds, “You will sleep in the hall with the rest of us.” Later, everyone falls asleep. Soumya sneaks out and picks up Mangal’s wedding dress. She whispers, “I’ll remove Adit’s name from your hands.” Mangal comes into the hall, sees her dress lying there, and wonders, “Who left this here?” Soumya had already taken pictures of it.
Lakshmi calls Mangal, asking, “Where’s Soumya?” Mangal answers, “She’s sleeping in the hall.” Adit overhears and wonders why Kusum is keeping Soumya there. He calls Soumya and asks her to meet him outside. Soumya sneaks out, but when they meet, she snaps, “You just want me out of the house so you can enjoy your wedding, right?” Just then, Lakshmi arrives, and Adit pretends to be talking to his boss. Shanti wakes up and asks Soumya, “Where did you go?” Soumya lies, “I was in the bathroom.” Adit, acting normal, tells Lakshmi, “I’ve got some work calls,” and quickly deletes his call logs.
Scene 2
The next morning, Mangal is getting ready. She performs the arti with everyone. Kusum and Shanti shower her with blessings. Lakshmi receives a video call from Lipika, and everyone wishes Mangal a happy anniversary. Soumya chimes in, “Will you give me some arti too?” Just then, a delivery man arrives with a parcel. Soumya claims it, saying, “It’s mine.” Shanti asks, “What’s inside?” Soumya responds, “It’s my clothes for the wedding.” Shanti demands, “Show it to us.”
Meanwhile, Adit is getting ready. Akshar compliments him, “You look like a hero.” Gayatri asks Lakshmi to help tie Adit’s turban. Lakshmi ties it while Adit asks, “What do you want for Naig?” Lakshmi replies, “Promise me that you’ll always keep my sister happy. Be honest in this marriage and stand by her side no matter what.” Adit assures her, “I promise. I’ll keep all seven vows.” Karthik and Akshar start dancing. Mangal tells Kusum, “Let it be, we don’t need to see your dress.”
