Mangal Lakshmi 21st August 2024 Written Episode: Mangal’s Surprise Visit
Scene 1
Adit says that Ishana will be really hurt when she finds out you chose her over your mom. Saumiya replies that Adit’s mom and Mayank wouldn’t like that. She adds, “I have an idea.”
The doctor checks on Mangal and says, “Your recovery is slow. You need to rest in bed.” Kusum agrees, saying, “She doesn’t rest enough.” Mangal insists, “My daughter has a competition. I must go.” Adit suggests, “Let her go just for today.” Mangal reluctantly agrees, “Alright, but only for today.”
Adit calls out, “Ishana, hurry up!” Meanwhile, Saumiya calls Mayank and offers to go to Jaipur to pick up his lehenga. He responds, “Saumiya, I’ll go pick it up myself. It costs 5 lacs.” Kusum exclaims, “That’s so expensive! I know some good places there.” Adit suggests, “Mom, why don’t you go with him and help him out? After all, he’s like your son.” Kusum hesitates because of Ishana’s competition, but Adit reassures her, “Don’t worry, we will take care of Ishana.” Kusum finally agrees, and Mayank thanks her, saying, “Thank you so much.” They leave together.
Mangal gives Ishana some yogurt and says, “This will bring you luck. You will win for sure.” Ishana replies, “I don’t like it.” Adit intervenes, “Let her be if she doesn’t like it.” Mangal prays for Ishana’s success. Meanwhile, Saumiya gets ready and tells herself, “I will have to dance.” Just then, Shalini enters and asks, “Where are you going?” Saumiya explains, “It’s a cultural day at my office.” Shalini suggests, “Come with me to the temple. I want to thank God for Mayank.” Saumiya hesitates, saying, “I have to go somewhere.” Shalini insists, “You can go after the temple.”
Scene 2
Lakshmi tells Gayatri, “I’ve prepared everything for the pooja.” Sanjana steps in and says, “Give me the items. I’ll take care of them.” Lakshmi insists, “I’m here. I’ll handle it.”
Mangal and Adit arrive at the hall and take their seats in the front row. Mangal confidently says, “Ishana will win for sure.” Adit adds, “Today is going to be so much fun.” Mangal, filled with pride, says, “She’s going to fulfill her dream.” Adit replies, “Because of you, I get to see this day.”
Meanwhile, Sanjana notices Lakshmi praying. She struggles to open a bottle of oil, while Saumiya and her mom arrive at the temple. Mangal mentions that everyone will be dancing with their mothers, but Ishana will be dancing alone. “She’s so brave,” Mangal adds. Mangal starts looking around for Ishana, who is waiting anxiously for Saumiya. Ishana tells her teacher, “My mom will be here soon.”
Lakshmi finally picks up the bottle, but the oil spills. Gayatri scolds her, “You’re so careless. You can’t even do one thing right.” Saumiya witnesses the scene. Ishana begins to panic, wondering where Saumiya is. The teacher warns, “If your mom doesn’t come, we’ll have to cancel your name.” Mangal overhears this and becomes concerned. Ishana reassures herself, “My mom is coming soon.” Mangal wonders who Ishana is talking to and calls her mom. The teacher repeats, “If your mom doesn’t come, we’ll have to cancel your name.” Ishana sits down, crying. Mangal, heartbroken, says to herself, “Did Ishana lie to me again? Did she call Saumiya her mother?”
Lakshmi helps Saumiya up. Sanjana accuses, “Lakshmi spilled the oil.” Lakshmi apologizes, “I’m sorry, Saumiya ji.” Saumiya, in pain, says, “My hand hurts so much. I need to see a doctor.” Gayatri scolds Lakshmi, “You mess up everything. You’ve embarrassed me.” A storm starts brewing outside.
Mangal returns to the hall. Akshar asks, “When will Ishana perform?” The students begin their performances with their mothers. Mangal, worried, tells Adit, “I…” but Adit interrupts, saying, “I need to make an important call.” The host then announces, “Next up is a performance by Ishana and her mom.” Ishana steps onto the stage, and Mangal anxiously wonders if Saumiya will show up.
