Janvi asks Anushka to sit on the couch while she gets her some water. She goes to fetch the water.
Aryaman takes Anushka to the Bundela hotel, with Janvi following them. Janvi asks Aryaman why he brought Anushka there. Aryaman explains that Anushka will stay there from now on and have everything she needs. Anushka asks if Aryaman is separating her from her son. Aryaman assures her that she can still see Kian, but only for a limited time. Anushka begs Janvi to convince Aryaman not to separate her from Kian, pretending to be in pain. Janvi tries to calm her down and argues with Aryaman, insisting that Anushka will not stay at the hotel. Janvi tells Anushka to go to her room, promising to talk to Aryaman. Anushka leaves.
Aryaman questions Janvi actions and says it not good for their relationship to have Anushka stay in their house. He points out that they haven’t had any romantic moments since Anushka came into their lives. Janvi brings up Aryaman past mistake. Aryaman defends himself, saying what happened five years ago was a mistake and he has already apologized for it. He expresses frustration that Janvi is still holding it against him and walks away. Janvi silently apologizes to Aryaman, thinking she is doing this to make him hate her and keep her promise to Brij Bhushan.
The next day, Premchand gathers the family and announces that they will perform a special Pooja, which is a family tradition when a baby is born. He explains they didn’t perform the Pooja when Kian was born, so they will do it now.
The pandit says the baby mother should perform the Pooja. Suhasini asks which mother should do it since Kian has two mothers. Anushka volunteers to do the Pooja. Aryaman interrupts, saying Janvi will do the Pooja, but Janvi insists that Anushka should do it according to tradition. Brij Bhushan agrees with Janvi.
Secretly, Janvi decides to perform the Pooja for Kian without anyone knowing.
Janvi is seen preparing for the Pooja. Aryaman confronts her, accusing her of secretly performing the Pooja despite pretending otherwise. To prove she not doing the Pooja, Janvi eats from her untouched food plate. She later goes to the kitchen and spits out the food, apologizing to God for disrespecting it but explaining she had to deceive Aryaman.
Anushka plans to win Kian heart and tampers with the 5-step Aarthi.
During the Pooja, Anushka asks Janvi to bring the 5-step Aarthi. Janvi notices that the oil from the Aarthi is about to spill but is too late to stop it. Anushka deliberately lets the oil spill on Janvi hand. Janvi questions Anushka actions, who reminds her of the help she been receiving to get closer to her son. Kian, seeing this, is impressed with Anushka and gets closer to her. Kian takes Anushka with him to apply ice on her burn.
