Kundali Bhagya Written Episode Update 18th August 2024: Varun’s Deadly Ultimatum
Kavya is upset and crying as Varun explains that she has to do whatever he says. Sanjana, angry, orders Kavya to be quiet and threatens to slap her. Sanjana is frustrated because Kavya has been yelling and refusing to wear the jewelry she was given. She warns Kavya that if she continues to resist, things could get worse.
Varun comes over and asks why his grandmother slapped Kavya on his wedding day. He says that if Kavya had agreed to marry him willingly, none of this would have happened. He tries to convince Kavya that marrying him will allow her to see her mother again. Sanjana tells Varun to explain to Kavya what she might face if she doesn’t agree to marry him.
Kavya sees her mother, Preeta, unconscious and asks Varun what he has done. Varun reassures her that Preeta is only unconscious and will not die. Kavya begs to be allowed to leave, but Varun tells her that it’s up to her. He says that if she wants to see her mother, she should go ahead with the marriage. Varun orders his men to show Kavya her mother, who is near the warehouse.
Meanwhile, Bani Dadi asks Gurpreet and Mohit to sit down. She tells Rakhi that she wants to meet Palki and needs to do some exercise. Rakhi goes to get her phone, and Gurpreet asks Karina if she is upset with her. Karina replies that she doesn’t like people who overstay their welcome. She explains that Gurpreet and Mohit stayed for lunch after their house burned down, and now she questions if they will continue to live with them. Gurpreet explains that they have another property and won’t move in.
Rakhi returns and tries to call Palki, who is with the auto driver because their auto broke down. Karan and Rajveer arrive and see Palki, who informs them that Preeta went missing from the mall. Kavya had called, saying that Varun saw the kidnapping and called her to meet him. Rajveer tells Palki to get in the car quickly, and they drive off in a hurry.
Back at the Luthra Mansion, Karina asks Rakhi why she’s worried. Rakhi explains that Preeta was kidnapped from the mall, and Varun saw it happen and then called Kavya. Rakhi is confused about what happened. Bani Dadi wonders where they should look for Kavya and Preeta. Rakhi suggests they go to the police station to file a complaint, and they all leave.
Varun then reveals Preeta locked in a glass cell, which shocks Kavya. Varun and Sanjana are pleased with their plan. Kavya runs to the glass cell, calling out to her mother and recalling how comforting it was to hug her. She is heartbroken.
Sunny brings Shaurya to the Luthra Mansion and tells him not to fall, but Shaurya insists it’s his own house. Garesh tries to help him, but Sunny refuses. Garesh says Rakhi is at the police station, and Shaurya wants to check but falls. Nidhi tells him he needs to rest, even though Shaurya insists they need him.
Kavya tries calling her mother, but Varun tells her the glass is soundproof. Kavya asks why Varun is doing this, expressing that she fell in love with him and thought he loved her too. Varun explains that he does not care about love and only wants revenge for his father. He says Kavya’s family humiliated him, and now he will take revenge by marrying her and causing trouble for the Luthra family. Kavya apologizes for what her father did, but Varun dismisses it, saying she was present at the time and can’t change the past. He orders her to marry him and warns that if she mentions her mother again, he will kill her.
