Kundali Bhagya Written Episode Update 14th August 2024: Kavya Learns About Preeta’s Kidnapping
The episode starts with Varun asking Preeta why she’s staring at him. He then sarcastically asks if she wants to slap him, and says if she thinks everyone will listen to her, she’s wrong. Varun tells Preeta that no one wants to hear her lecture; they’ll only follow his orders. He blames Preeta for ruining everything by messing up his plan and threatens to kill her if he loses his temper. He introduces himself as Varun, someone who never loses, and when it comes to life and death, he just kills. He’s confident he can handle anything, and if not, he’ll use his gun. Varun insists that, despite the challenges, his plan will succeed, and he will marry Kavya. Preeta, shocked, calls him an animal and says that Kavya, who is innocent and her daughter, won’t marry a devil like him.
Varun then accuses Preeta of ruining his family, making his mother suffer, and destroying his father. He blames her for bringing his parents down from a good life to one of misery and considers her his biggest enemy.
Meanwhile, Rakhi opens the door and warmly welcomes Gurpreet and Mohit. She invites them in and asks them to sit. Gurpreet says they came to visit Preeta and mentions how they learned that Preeta’s house burned down but were glad to hear the Luthras stood by her. Rakhi replies that Preeta has always supported them, so they had to support her. She appreciates Gurpreet for treating Preeta like family. Mohit mentions they came to see Rajveer and Preeta. Rakhi informs them that Rajveer has been made the CEO of the Luthra empire and Karan has taken him to the office. She adds that Preeta has gone to the mall with Kavya. Gurpreet stands to greet Karina, but Karina leaves angrily. Rakhi decides to talk to Karina and offers to bring tea or coffee for Gurpreet, who politely declines.
Back with Preeta, she insists she hasn’t wronged Varun’s parents and that what happened in front of his mother, Roma, was justified. She asks what she had to do with his father’s kidnapping and says that they didn’t raise him properly. Varun warns her to stay quiet, saying she didn’t even understand what he just said. Preeta retorts that she doesn’t need to understand and that if Varun thinks he can get what he wants by yelling, he’s mistaken. Varun declares that he will do what he wants because Preeta needs to pay for her actions. He accuses her of being a detective who exposed his secret wife, Aaliya, and blames her for breaking up his marriage. Now, he wants her to be the one to get him married to Kavya and even bless them. Preeta warns him to forget about it, saying she will never allow it. Varun asks how she plans to stop it, adding that she will be the reason it happens, and orders his men to take Preeta away.
The men force Preeta to get up from the wheelchair and sit down again as they start tying her hands and feet to the chair. Preeta pleads with them to let her go, but they ignore her and leave after securing the ropes.
Rakhi then asks Karina why her mood has changed. Karina explains that Rakhi knows she can’t pretend and can’t welcome people she doesn’t like. She says she doesn’t like middle-class people who come into the house and talk sweetly. Rakhi is surprised, thinking Karina had changed, especially since she welcomed Preeta. But Karina clarifies that she only supported the family’s decision to accept Preeta because she didn’t want to cause problems, especially for Kavya, whom she loves. Karina admits that she still doesn’t like Preeta or middle-class people and that Rakhi shouldn’t expect her to change. Nidhi, who overhears this, is pleased that Karina is still against Preeta and plans to use this to her advantage.
Later, Varun, frustrated, throws a bottle, blaming others for the mess. He gets a call from Panday, who asks if the job is done. Varun complains that his men messed up by kidnapping Preeta instead of Kavya. He has a plan but isn’t sure if it will work. Panday advises him to follow through, and Varun, confident in his plan, tells Panday to prepare everything needed for his wedding. Sanjana then arrives with a Chunri for Kavya, but Varun, irritated, tells her Kavya isn’t here. Sanjana reassures him that he will marry Kavya because he’s determined to do so. Varun decides it’s time to bring Kavya to him and starts making his plans.
Meanwhile, Kavya is driving when she notices Varun calling her. She recalls how he pleaded with her before and rejects the call. But Varun keeps trying, confident that he’ll win her over. Eventually, Kavya answers, and Varun lies that he saw two men forcing Preeta into a car and thought she was being kidnapped. He gives her directions, pretending to follow the car, and asks her to meet him on Road 45. Kavya, worried, drives towards the location.
