Kundali Bhagya 5th September 2024 Written Episode Update: Karan’s Heartwarming Gesture for Shaurya and Rajveer
The episode begins with Kavya noticing that Palki is nervous. Even Kritika goes to check on her and comments that Palki’s face has turned red. Palki, feeling uncomfortable, tries to leave, saying she has some work in the kitchen. Palki’s Dadi wants to talk to Daljeet and asks if she can go somewhere private. Karina tells her that the entire house is hers and she can go anywhere. Rakhi tells Karina that she will call the Pandit to check for an auspicious time for the event. Bani Dadi goes along with Rakhi. Mahesh wonders why everyone is leaving, but Preeta reassures him that everyone is just happy. Preeta adds that Kavya has shown how important daughters are, not just as a family’s pride but also as their dignity. Karan starts laughing, and when Preeta asks why, he says that’s just how these situations go. Karan then leaves, taking a jar with him, and Mahesh follows.
Meanwhile, Palki’s Dadi asks Daljeet why she seemed upset during the announcement of Palki and Rajveer’s relationship. Daljeet admits that she doesn’t feel good about Rajveer because he’s just a worker at the Luthra company. Dadi asks why that’s a problem since Rajveer has a good position at the company. Daljeet replies that she doesn’t think it’s enough and questions why they need to rush into the marriage. Dadi wonders if Daljeet has someone else in mind for Palki, but Daljeet denies this. Still, she insists that Palki isn’t very attractive and doesn’t think any boy would fall in love with her. Dadi tells Daljeet to stop and let Palki get married.
Shaurya, meanwhile, is thinking about seeing Rajveer and Palki together at a café. He remembers how Preeta mentioned that Rajveer is like a brother to Shaurya. Shanaya follows Shaurya, wondering why he seems so upset.
Back with the family, Rakhi asks Preeta where Daljeet is. Preeta says she’s already here, and soon, Dadi and Daljeet join them. Rakhi explains that she wanted to talk about something. Daljeet agrees with Kavya that Shaurya and Shanaya should get married, but she isn’t ready to marry both her daughters at the same time. Rakhi says it would be nice for both daughters-in-law to enter the house together. Daljeet explains that, coming from a middle-class background, she can’t afford two weddings at once. She suggests that Shanaya marry Shaurya, but she can’t handle both weddings right now. Preeta asks why it’s a problem since Kavya wants both brothers to marry at the same time. Daljeet says she doesn’t want anyone to think she neglected her older daughter by focusing on the younger one’s wedding.
Rakhi reassures her that the expenses will be taken care of, and Karina gets upset at this. Preeta offers to help with the costs, but Rakhi tells her not to worry about it. She says this house belongs to Preeta and her sons, so there’s no need to discuss money. Rakhi reminds everyone that it was Preeta who saved them from Anshuman Pandey and made sure the Luthra Mansion and business stayed with the family. Therefore, everything here is as much Preeta’s as it is theirs. Rakhi says they should feel blessed to have two new daughters-in-law joining the family and asks Daljeet and Dadi to give their blessings to both daughters.
Kavya is happy, saying that it’s wonderful that the house will welcome two Lakshmis (symbolic of good fortune). Karina, however, is unsure if this is the right decision and wonders if these relationships are a good match. Nidhi doesn’t agree with Rakhi’s decision and thinks Shanaya isn’t of the same status as their family. She feels Shanaya isn’t the kind of daughter-in-law people will admire.
Later, Shaurya is in his room when Shanaya asks him why he seems upset. He says everything is fine, but Shanaya insists that something is wrong because he’s been acting differently. Shaurya sarcastically asks if he’s ever been romantic with her or taken her out, questioning why she expects that from him. Shanaya wants to know why he’s being so rude, but Shaurya tells her it’s none of her business. She reminds him that they are about to be married, so they should try to understand each other better. Shaurya tells her if she feels that way, she should tell her family they shouldn’t marry. Shanaya is shocked by his words.
Meanwhile, Palki is feeling nervous as she walks towards the balcony, smiling to herself. She remembers her date with Rajveer and how he tried to be romantic. As she keeps smiling, Rajveer asks if she’s thinking about him, which startles her. She tells him he scared her, but Rajveer assures her that he will always protect her from fear. He then asks if she’s happy. Palki teases him, saying she’s worried about losing her freedom after marriage, mentioning that he might change after they’re married. She jokes that he’ll start complaining about food and expect her to do all the chores. Rajveer promises that they’ll share everything, including housework, and he’ll even take her out for dates. Palki laughs and admits she was just teasing him. They playfully argue before Palki runs away, smiling.
Later, Shaurya questions why Shanaya is pushing for the marriage and asks if she truly loves him. Shanaya insists she loves him and believes they will be happy together. Shaurya tells her to stop pretending, as she’s not good at lying. She defends herself, saying she has never complained about him and wants to marry him. Shaurya realizes he needs to find a way out of this situation. Just then, Nidhi arrives, telling Shaurya that his father is calling him.
Karan is waiting for Shaurya and Rajveer. When they arrive, Karan says it’s Raksha Bandhan, and traditionally, sisters tie the Rakhi while brothers give gifts. Shaurya says he tried to give a gift, and Rajveer agrees. Kavya reveals that their gift was agreeing to their marriages. Karan says he’s changing the rules and, as a father, will give the gifts this time. He gives Shaurya a wristwatch, telling him it will remind him to value every moment and focus on the future. Karan then gives Rajveer the keys to the Luthra Industries safe, surprising everyone. He says he trusts Rajveer to protect the family’s wealth and lead the company to greater success. While some are shocked, Rakhi, Mahesh, and Kritika are overjoyed, though Preeta seems worried.
