Kundali Bhagya 30 Aug 2024 Written Episode: Anshuman’s Shocking Move
Karan comments that Rajveer is like his double or maybe the next version of himself. He mentions that during his time, he was a great batsman and could catch any ball that came his way. He praises Rajveer for catching the ball. Karan also admits he was a flirt, but Rajveer quickly says he doesn’t have that trait. Nidhi, turning to Shaurya, points out how Karan is focused only on Rajveer, even telling him to drive the car, while ignoring Shaurya, who is his real son. Nidhi feels like Rajveer is Karan’s son and Shaurya is the outsider. She’s worried Rajveer might take Shaurya’s place and tells Shaurya that he needs to take action instead of just drinking and going elsewhere. Shaurya responds that he isn’t coming back home but is going straight to a party. He tells Nidhi to inform his father to only worry about Rajveer. Nidhi smiles, feeling satisfied that she has started a fire that will eventually consume both Preeta and Rajveer.
Preeta tells Gurpreet that Palki is a wonderful girl, and she sees a lot of herself in Palki, who is always ready to help others. Preeta recalls how much Palki helped them recently and feels bad that Palki and Rajveer haven’t had time to spend together. Preeta says that even though she knows Rajveer is a good person, as his aunt, she’s naturally biased. When Gurpreet sees Palki entering, Preeta suggests Palki go out for dinner with Rajveer, which makes Palki nervous. Gurpreet asks why she’s so tense, and Palki explains that her mother might refuse. Even though she wants to spend time with Rajveer and go to dinner, she’s unsure if Rajveer would be available. Preeta insists Rajveer will take her out and tells Palki to be ready by 9 PM. Palki is hesitant because she needs to help Kavya, but Preeta reassures her, saying this is also her home and she considers Palki more like a daughter than a daughter-in-law. After Palki leaves, Preeta explains to Gurpreet that she wants Kavya to feel the same happiness, but she’s heartbroken over what happened with Varun. Kritika joins them, comforting Preeta by saying Kavya is strong and will heal. However, Preeta feels that Kavya isn’t truly okay and is just pretending to be fine. She fears that Kavya is blaming herself for not seeing the truth about Varun and might lose trust in others due to this pain, which could take a long time to heal. Preeta wishes for Kavya to return to her old self. Kritika assures her that nothing bad will happen as long as Preeta is around. Preeta replies that if it were up to her, she would have made sure Varun was severely punished. Kritika then mentions that Varun is being moved to another jail, where dangerous criminals will give him their own kind of welcome. This angers Kritika, while Preeta becomes nervous.
Later that night, Varun is being transferred in a police van. The Inspector remarks that Varun must regret ruining his own life, thinking he was a big gangster. The Inspector explains that Varun will now face punishment in a jail where he’ll meet people just like him. Varun, not interested in listening, says he’ll see what happens in the future. The Inspector warns Varun to show respect to the police, saying they can teach him a lesson. Varun sarcastically asks what more they could do to him, given everything he’s already been through. The Inspector, frustrated, orders Varun out of the van and makes him stand before him. He then orders the constable to remove Varun’s handcuffs. Varun guesses that they’re about to stage an escape attempt so they can shoot him from behind. The Inspector admits Varun is clever and reveals that’s exactly the plan—they’ll become famous for it, and their names will be in the newspapers. He orders Varun to run, but Varun refuses, saying he’s ready to go to jail. The Inspector, angry, shoots at Varun’s shoes and again orders him to run. Varun tries to flee, and the Inspector fires, telling the constable to shoot as well, to make it look like they took down a criminal. Varun hides, but a man named Anshuman Panday stops his car and tells Varun to get in. Anshuman drives away, leaving the Inspector worried that if Varun reports this, they’ll lose their jobs. Varun, now in the car, asks who Anshuman and his men are. Anshuman says they’re trustworthy and saved Varun for a reason—they want something in return. Anshuman reveals he knows Varun wants revenge against the Luthras and shares that Rajveer almost joined him but eventually sided with Karan. Anshuman, however, believes Varun is different and mentions the warehouse incident. He says anyone against the Luthras is his friend and is glad he helped Varun avoid jail, where he would have never escaped. Varun says he needs to kidnap a girl quickly before the Luthras recover from the previous night’s attack. Anshuman stops the car, scaring Varun, but then hands him the keys, saying the number plate is fake, so Varun should drive. They shake hands, and Varun takes the wheel.
Meanwhile, Rajveer is standing with a file in his hands when Palki enters. He nearly drops the file upon seeing her and can’t take his eyes off her. Palki smiles nervously, and Rajveer compliments her, saying she looks very pretty. Preeta walks in, joking that Palki was always beautiful but looks even more stunning after Rajveer’s compliment. Karan enters, asking if everything is alright. Preeta reassures him that all is well and goes back inside. Kavya arrives, telling Rajveer to change his clothes. Karan, sensing something, asks if something big is happening, as Kavya had urgently called him to bring Rajveer home. Kavya then reveals that Rajveer and Palki are going on a date. Rajveer, looking at Palki, gets nervous as everyone smiles at them. Preeta teases that Karan isn’t romantic, and now her son has also become unromantic, forgetting how to spend time with his fiancée. Karan interrupts, defending himself, saying he is romantic and knows how to do it all. He even claims that when he looks at someone with love, they can’t take their eyes off him.
Rajveer continues staring at Palki, and Karan, realizing what he said, clarifies that he knows how to be romantic and would do anything for love, even sacrifice his life. Kavya nudges Rajveer to change quickly before the restaurant closes. Karan suggests that even if someone isn’t romantic, they might become so at the restaurant. Kavya insists Rajveer change, and she’ll put a black tika on Palki. Preeta smiles as Karan approaches, asking what’s on her mind. She apologizes for calling him unromantic, admitting her mistake, and praises him for knowing about a restaurant that stays open until 2 AM. Karan jokingly says her memory is faulty, but he’s telling the truth, even if it breaks his heart. Preeta looks puzzled as Karan smiles.
Kritika is busy decorating when Rakhi notices and enters the room, surprised by the decorations. Rakhi, amazed, asks Kritika what’s going on. Kritika hurriedly closes the door to keep it a secret and explains that Kavya wanted to surprise her brothers at midnight with the decorations. Rakhi, concerned, reminds Kritika that Rakhi (the festival) can’t be celebrated at midnight; it has to be done in the afternoon. Rakhi mentions that decorators are coming in the morning for the event. Kritika pleads with Rakhi to keep the surprise a secret, and Rakhi agrees but insists that Kavya can’t tie the rakhi at midnight. Kritika explains that Shaurya is at a friend’s bachelor party and Rajveer is out with Palki, so they won’t be back before midnight. Kritika assures Rakhi that no one will tie the rakhi at midnight and asks if she did the right thing by supporting Kavya’s wishes. Rakhi understands that Kavya is trying to move on and find happiness in small things, just like Preeta used to do. She agrees with Kritika, saying Kavya is following her mother’s example and asks her to rest so they can prepare for Raksha Bandhan the next day. Kritika hugs Rakhi, and they leave the room together.
Later, Preeta asks Karan what he meant earlier when he mentioned friendship rules about no thank you or sorry. Karan explains that they are friends, and those rules applied. Preeta, feeling she misunderstood, apologizes if she made him uncomfortable. Karan, jokingly, says she did it again by apologizing. Preeta agrees to follow his rule, but then wonders if people take advantage of their friendship because they don’t express respect or gratitude. Karan agrees that people can take relationships for granted and neglect feelings. He proposes a new rule: they’ll say thank you and sorry when necessary. Preeta agrees and gives Karan a fist bump, which surprises him. He smiles as he watches Preeta, who is also smiling back.
