Preeta recalls that Karan always wanted to hear her say “thank you.” This surprises Karan, and he wonders if she remembers everything. Preeta says she remembers their first meeting. Karan excitedly asks if she remembers the car. Preeta says it’s been almost a year since she almost fell, and he wanted her to say thank you. She knows from then that he always wanted her to say it. Karan agrees, saying it’s a long story. Preeta asks if she should thank him now, and Karan smiles. He jokes that she talks too much and doesn’t know how to stay quiet. Preeta replies that he is the one who makes her talk, but he says she doesn’t even let him speak. Preeta decides she won’t talk anymore because he’ll say he didn’t get the chance.
Karan starts thinking about how he saw Preeta trapped in a glass tank and got very worried. Preeta notices him staring and asks why. He says he was checking if she’s okay. Preeta mentions someone else who isn’t okay and needs his help—Kavya. She knows Kavya is strong but still needs support. Even though the police arrested Varun, Preeta feels his negative influence still lingers. She asks Karan to show love and care for both Kavya and Shaurya. She knows he loves them but wants him to take care of their emotional needs. Kavya went through a big trauma, and Preeta isn’t sure why Shaurya is acting out, but they both need his support. Karan promises to take care of all his children: Kavya, Shaurya, and even Rajveer. He mentions he won’t say Rajveer is like his son but will take care of him too. Preeta thanks him but says not to worry about Rajveer, as Shrishti has raised him well. Preeta feels that Kavya and Shaurya are good kids but need the family’s support. Karan agrees.
Bani Dadi asks Rakhi what she’s doing. Rakhi replies that her pain will end soon. Bani Dadi says Rakhi is scolding her but still caring for her. Mahesh brings medicine for Karina. Kavya comes to Bani Dadi and assures her everything will be fine. Palki and Rajveer also come. Palki gets restless seeing Bani Dadi in pain and checks on her. Palki asks Rakhi for ointment while Bani Dadi insists it’s just a scratch. Palki requests to help, and Rakhi agrees. Bani Dadi says they now have Palki, just like they had Preeta. Mahesh jokes that with Palki, no one will get sick. Palki is glad everyone is fine. Mahesh teases that Palki doesn’t know how strong Bani Dadi is, as he has suffered a lot at her hands.
Rakhi talks to Rajveer, who seems tense. She praises Palki, saying Rajveer is lucky to have someone like her, who is respectful and caring. Karina gets upset hearing this. Rakhi says their home is lucky to have Palki, and Kavya agrees. Rajveer agrees too, calling Palki one in ten million. Kavya says she’ll get water for everyone and mentions that tomorrow they will fix everything in the outhouse. Rajveer tells everyone that Kavya is not acting normal and is hiding her emotions after what she went through. Rakhi praises Rajveer for understanding Kavya’s situation. She agrees that the storm named Varun may have passed, but Kavya will need time to heal. Bani Dadi worries about Kavya’s future because she trusted Varun a lot. Mahesh decides to meet the Inspector, not for Varun but for Prithvi and Sherlin. Karina agrees, saying Prithvi and Sherlin still want revenge. Mahesh mentions he’ll file a complaint. Bani Dadi regrets the day Sherlin came into their lives, as she ruined Rishab’s life. Rajveer assures them that no one will harm Kavya.
Kavya says she’s leaving with the bottles. Palki thinks she needs to take one for Mohit and heads out of the kitchen. She stops when Shaurya comes in front of her. She tries to leave, but Shaurya stops her. She says she needs to go, but Shaurya comments on her forming relationships with his family. He says he doesn’t care who she helps, but he won’t thank her. Palki replies she doesn’t expect anything from him. Shaurya then tells her to behave and not cause problems for his sister. Palki asks what he means, and Shaurya accuses her of always bringing trouble to those near her. Palki trips while trying to walk away and asks him to say sorry. He insists she should behave, saying these are emotions, and he’s not an emotionless fool. Palki says there’s no place for people like him in her world.
Nidhi comes to Shaurya, warning that Palki could be dangerous for him. Shaurya dismisses her concerns, but Nidhi explains that Palki doesn’t care about him but respects Rajveer. She feels Palki is a threat because of her values and could harm Shaurya. Nidhi says Palki is important to Rajveer, who is important to Karan. She advises Shaurya to be careful, but Shaurya tells her not to worry and leaves. Nidhi smiles, thinking she has manipulated Shaurya again.
The next morning, Rakhi tells Karina and Bani Dadi that she’s worried about Kavya. She says Kavya is trying to show everything is fine, but it’s not. A boy came into her life and caused a storm. Rakhi says Kavya didn’t know Varun was a bad person, and it will take time for her to heal. Bani Dadi praises Kavya for not showing her pain, saying even good people face hardships. Varun deceived her, and Bani Dadi calls Kavya over. Kavya asks what they’re talking about. Mahesh jokes that they were talking bad about her grandmother. Rakhi praises Kavya, saying she should always stay happy. Kavya replies she doesn’t want to go somewhere she can’t return from. Karina offers her some butter, but Kavya says it’s enough. Mahesh insists she should take more. They all joke while eating, and Kavya tries to stay calm.
Palki is in the kitchen when Kavya joins her. Palki asks what’s wrong, and Kavya says everyone thinks she’s depressed. Palki tells her they might be right. Kavya says she’s trying to get out of this trouble, but she’s worried her family will fall into depression before she gets better. She wants everyone to be happy and for all problems to end. Kavya says they’ll celebrate Raksha Bandhan grandly and decorate the house. Palki agrees to help with the decorations. Kavya hugs Palki, saying she’s glad they’re friends. Palki says they’re more than just friends since Kavya is also the sister of the groom. Kavya prays that everything gets better and that her Preeta maa remembers everything.
Kritika is walking when she hears a noise and wonders if someone is in the store. Kritika asks Palki and Kavya what they’re up to. Palki reveals that tomorrow is Raksha Bandhan, and Kavya plans to decorate the entire house after everyone falls asleep. Palki says she’ll help Kavya, who also wants to decorate her own room.
