Varun grabs Kavya by the neck and angrily asks what she meant when she said his mother isn’t nice. Rajveer and Shaurya quickly pull Varun’s hand away, and Shaurya reminds Varun that he warned him to stay away from his sister. Despite this, Varun doesn’t seem to care. Shaurya manages to throw Varun to the ground. Rajveer picks Varun up, saying the name is already written, and then breaks Varun’s hand, making everyone tense. The Inspector arrives to take Varun away, and Bani Dadi comments that the Inspector arrived late. The Inspector explains they were handling another emergency, which turned out to be caused by Varun’s men, and that’s why they came. As Varun is taken away, he warns them that he’s not done and will return to take revenge for his mother’s tears. He says this is just a small twist in the story and that the real twist is yet to come, making everyone worried. Palki tells the Inspector to take Varun away. Varun then asks how Palki could say such nice things about his mother. Palki replies that she lied to him and that she never met his real mother. She explains that Varun came to India to take revenge for his mother, which shows how much he loves her. Palki says she just aimed at his feelings, saying all the things that any child would feel for their parents, but it was all a lie. She hopes Varun understands now. Palki orders the Inspector to take him away as Varun keeps staring at Rajveer and Palki, vowing to take revenge on Palki and not let her get away easily.
Shaurya then turns to look at Kavya and hugs her tightly. She starts crying, and Rajveer tries to console her, telling her everything will be fine. Rakhi, Karina, Mahesh, and others also gather around to comfort her. Kavya continues to cry, resting her head on Mahesh’s shoulder.
Garesh rushes to get Karan, telling him that the doctor is waiting. Karan praises Garesh for doing so much for the family, and Garesh replies that he considers them his own family. Karan informs the doctor that Preeta was in an ice tank for a long time, so they need to maintain the room’s temperature. He instructs Garesh to get the medicine himself, not to give the responsibility to anyone else. Karan also asks Nidhi to make warm soup for Preeta, which will help her feel better when she wakes up. As Karan looks at Preeta, he remembers how she was frozen and thinks about how she didn’t care about her own life, only worrying about Kavya. He says that if anyone asks him what a mother should be like, he would point to Preeta as the best example.
In the kitchen, Nidhi is furious, wondering why Preeta didn’t die. Anshuman Panday had said that Varun would kill Preeta, but she’s still safe. Arohi tells Nidhi that they should make the soup, but Nidhi angrily replies that she’s not a waitress. Arohi asks why Nidhi is getting angry at her. Nidhi thinks about scolding Anshuman Panday, so she calls him. When Anshuman answers, he insists that Varun was supposed to kill Preeta because he’s a psychopath, but now Nidhi feels like strangling him through the phone since Preeta is still alive.
Karan is watching over Preeta when she wakes up and immediately worries about Kavya. Karan reassures her that Kavya is with the family and on her way back home. He tells Preeta that she fainted, so he brought her back early. Preeta is concerned that Varun might still harm Kavya, but Karan tells her that Varun has been arrested. He offers to get her fresh clothes and urges her to change, but Preeta remains worried about Kavya. Despite this, she eventually gets up and heads to the bathroom.
Anshuman Panday is shocked when Nidhi questions why she would lie, as Varun has been arrested by the police, even though he seems like his twin brother. Anshuman insists that Varun isn’t related to him. Nidhi explains that Shaurya told her how the three of them fought Varun and got him arrested. Arohi decides to make the soup, worried that Karan might argue with Nidhi again. Anshuman, frustrated with Nidhi’s taunts, ends the call. Karan, noticing her difficulty, offers to dry her hair, and Preeta nods in agreement. As Karan dries her hair, Preeta quietly watches him, smiling. Karan also smiles, thinking about how Preeta saved him from the fire. Nidhi and Arohi enter the room, and Nidhi becomes furious seeing Karan drying Preeta’s hair. She feels angry and jealous, thinking about how Karan seems to care only about Preeta. Nidhi leaves the room, holding the bowl of soup. Karan continues drying Preeta’s hair, and Preeta thanks him. As Preeta almost trips on the rug, Karan catches her, and she just stares at him, a bit irritated. Kavya enters the room with the rest of the family, silently observing Karan and Preeta. Shaurya also sees them together from the doorway. Preeta realizes they are all standing behind them, and Karan turns around as well. Preeta rushes to Kavya, hugging her tightly and crying.
