Kundali Bhagya 21st August 2024 Written Episode: Rajveer’s Heroic Act
Preeta asks what kind of woman Sanjana is, especially when Varun is her grandson and she is still pushing him to marry Kavya. Preeta says that Sanjana is a disgrace to women. Sanjana responds by saying that if Preeta is ready to sacrifice her life for her daughter, then she’s wrong. She accuses Preeta of forgetting what she did to her own daughter, who ended up losing everything and was left on the streets because of her. Sanjana asks what crime her daughter committed other than wanting to marry Rishab Luthra. Hearing this, Preeta starts to get flashbacks of Rishab and asks Sanjana who Rishab is and who her daughter is. Suddenly, Preeta is shocked by the sound of a gunshot. Sanjana goes to check, and Varun appears, holding Kavya at gunpoint.
Varun points the gun at Kavya’s forehead and says that she used to listen to him but now acts fearless, like a lioness. He explains that he threatened to kill her, but she said she wasn’t scared. This confused him until he remembered her mother’s teachings. Angry, Varun fired a shot, but Kavya didn’t flinch, which made him feel bad that she wasn’t afraid. He then thought it would be easier if she died since she wasn’t scared, but realized that torturing Preeta would make things harder for Kavya. Varun tells Kavya that he has set up a machine that will turn water into ice, freezing Preeta. He describes how Preeta will first feel cold, then her body will turn blue, and eventually, she won’t be able to breathe. Varun then suggests they play a game where Kavya marries him. He warns her that if she resists, the priest will start the wedding rituals over again, and reminds her that the ice machine is already on, leaving Kavya to decide whether to save her mother or not.
Varun promises that if Kavya marries him, he won’t let Preeta die but will just torture her a little. He asks Kavya if she noticed why Preeta has been quiet. Kavya runs to plead with Varun, but he tells her that he has given her a reason to live, and it’s up to her to save Preeta. Kavya starts crying, but Preeta assures her that she is fine and tells Kavya to be brave and run away. Varun then asks Kavya if she wants to run, reminding her that he will freeze Preeta to death if she does. He explains that the human body can only tolerate cold to a certain extent, and ice is much worse. He mentions how people often lose their toes due to frostbite and warns Kavya to think about what might happen to her mother. Preeta watches as Kavya, who is emotional, remembers her childhood days when she used to play and dance with her mother at the Luthra Mansion. Kavya then puts on a wedding veil and sits at the wedding altar, telling Varun to hurry up and marry her. Varun, pleased that Kavya has finally agreed, slowly walks over to her and sits beside her, with the priest also taking his place. Kavya asks her mother to keep her eyes open and urges the priest to hurry with the wedding, noticing how worried her mother looks.
Sanjana tells Kavya that the bride should smile, not cry, as it’s considered a bad sign. She asks Kavya to smile, but Kavya starts crying even more. Sanjana then instructs the priest to stop the wedding rituals until the bride smiles. Kavya, desperate to save her mother, asks the priest to continue, explaining that her mother’s life is in danger. Kavya tries to smile as Varun’s grandmother had asked, but she can’t and starts crying again. Varun warns her that he can’t guarantee her mother’s safety. Seeing Preeta faint and fall into the freezing water, Kavya rushes to help her, but Varun stops her, forcing her back to the altar. Preeta struggles in the water but manages to surface. Kavya, realizing she has no choice, gives a forced smile, prompting Varun to signal the priest to continue the rituals. Varun then asks Kavya to fold her hands in prayer, and after some time, the priest instructs them to stand up for the circling ritual. Varun places a wedding garland around Kavya’s neck and asks her to do the same for him, smiling all the while.
Palki arrives with Rajveer and Karan, convinced they are at the right place. Rajveer, noticing a gun, realizes they are in danger. Despite being warned to leave, Palki remains confident they are in the right place. The goon outside threatens them, but Rajveer becomes furious.
Inside, Varun continues the wedding rituals while Preeta struggles to survive in the extreme cold. Sanjana and the other goons smile as they hear noises from outside. Varun orders Bhanu to check who has arrived. Kavya, thinking her father, Palki, and Rajveer have come to save them, grows hopeful. The goon outside is shocked to see the rest of the family members arrive, and Bhanu fires a shot, shocking everyone.
The priest declares the ritual complete, and Varun prepares to place the sacred thread around Kavya’s neck. Sanjana urges the priest to hurry. Just as Varun is about to complete the ritual, Kavya screams for her brother. Karan hears her cry and recognizes it as Kavya’s voice. Rajveer watches as Varun finishes the ritual by placing the sacred thread around Kavya’s neck. Preeta, still trapped, struggles to free her hand from the ice.
Bhanu threatens to shoot anyone who tries to come closer, warning everyone to back off. Karan exchanges a look with Rajveer, and Palki pushes one of the goons back, sparking a fight. Rajveer beats one of the goons and rushes into the warehouse, while the rest of the family fights off the goons.
Varun, frustrated that the sacred thread won’t close, is told by Sanjana to pick up the sindoor (sacred red powder). Kavya notices her mother’s struggle and becomes increasingly worried as Varun reaches for the sindoor.
Meanwhile, Nidhi arrives at Anshuman Panday’s house, determined to speak with him. Arohi questions Nidhi’s intentions, but Nidhi insists, explaining that Shaurya can’t tolerate anyone hurting Preeta. Nidhi, however, doesn’t trust anyone when it comes to Preeta, explaining that Karan Luthra behaves like a lion when it concerns her. Nidhi reveals that Preeta is the biggest problem in her life and that she’s willing to go to any lengths to get rid of her, even if it means crossing dangerous paths. Arohi warns Nidhi that Shaurya’s connection to Preeta is karmic and that he cares deeply for her, even though he doesn’t know she’s his mother. Nidhi admits that if Shaurya finds out the truth, she might lose everything, but she vows to keep manipulating him to hate Preeta.
At the same time, Sunny talks to Shaurya, shocked to learn that Shaurya started hating Rajveer. Shaurya admits he has never hated anyone more and that Rajveer stole all the important relationships in his life. Shaurya also mentions a strange connection he feels with his aunt, even though she slapped and insulted him, just like Rajveer did. Sunny points out that Shaurya’s feelings for his aunt are confusing, as he doesn’t want to see her hurt but can’t explain why. Shaurya asks Sunny to keep this a secret, and Sunny agrees, promising to be a loyal friend no matter what. Shaurya, thinking about his sister KD, decides to call her. Sunny notes that Shaurya really cares for his sister, even though Rajveer also behaves like a brother to Kavya, which annoys him. Just as Varun is about to apply sindoor to Kavya, Rajveer hits him on the head with a coconut. Sanjana is shocked, and Kavya begs her brother to save their mother, leaving Rajveer horrified as he sees Preeta struggling in the freezing box.
