The episode begins with Purvi reflecting on everything that has happened so far. Diya calls her and asks what’s going on. Purvi tells Diya that RV has become distant and stopped talking to anyone. She shares that she tried to help RV, but things didn’t go well. Diya asks Purvi why she called, and Diya admits that she hasn’t told anyone in the family about RV and Neha’s pre-engagement ceremony. Purvi advises Diya not to inform the family. Diya worries that the family might hear about it from someone else, but Purvi tells her to lie if that happens. Diya agrees and reassures Purvi that she always supports her, which comforts Purvi.
Later, RV approaches Purvi and tries to lighten the mood. He jokes with her, saying it’s a good thing all this is happening because he can’t handle her. Purvi responds playfully, saying she wanted to annoy him. RV tells Purvi she’s fine just the way she is and then leaves. Purvi comments on his words as he goes.
Meanwhile, Diya asks Yug why he’s there. Yug says he was just passing by and wanted to check on her. Diya asks if he’s sick, but Yug assures her he’s fine. He then invites Diya to come with him to Malhotra Mansion, and Diya agrees.
While Purvi is cooking in the kitchen, she hears from a servant that Neha is coming to the house. Purvi tries to inform the family. As the doorbell rings, Vaishali goes to answer it.
When Vaishali opens the door, she sees Neha standing there with several women from an NGO. The NGO women tell Neha to enter the house, as she is soon to become the daughter-in-law of the Malhotra family. Neha steps into the mansion, and the NGO women explain that they are there to make sure RV’s family treats Neha with the respect she deserves. Neha asks Purvi to introduce her to the family. The NGO women also ask Purvi to introduce Neha to RV’s family, which she does. Neha offers sweets to the family to celebrate a fresh start, but notices that although everyone takes the sweets, no one is eating them. She remarks on this and then tells Purvi that RV’s family will find it hard to accept her as long as Purvi is still in the house. Neha then asks Purvi to leave.
Neha tells RV that if he’s serious about marrying her, he needs to prove it by divorcing Purvi that very day. The Malhotra family asks Neha to give them some time. Neha agrees but says they have only until the evening. She adds that she will bring the divorce papers for RV and Purvi to sign later that day.
