Kumkum Bhagya 8th August 2024 Written Episode Update: Jassi changes Monisha plan
The episode starts with Monisha and Jassi explaining their plan to Neha. Monisha tells Neha that she’ll take her to the police station to withdraw the case, but only after creating a big drama. Jassi reminds Neha to act well and warns her to follow their instructions carefully. They leave after that.
Later, Poorvi goes to RV and asks him what’s troubling him. RV shares that he upset because he thinks some girls misuse the law for their own gain. Poorvi reassures him that not everyone is like that—there are both good and bad people in the world. RV explains that he was too drunk to defend himself and left the scene. He feels terrible because everyone saw him with her in the room, and the media was there too. He worried that the media will make him look guilty, and he feels like everything is falling apart. Poorvi tries to comfort him, but RV is convinced that his one mistake has ruined him. He feels hopeless and says he can’t even give his mom fake reassurances because he knows it’s all over. He then says he needs some fresh air.
Meanwhile, Jassi returns to Neha and says that during the press conference tomorrow, the media will make RV look guilty, and then Monisha will swoop in and save him, making her look like an angel. Neha agrees, but Jassi reveals that there a twist—he’s also part of the story. He says that if Monisha saves RV, she’ll come out looking good, but he worried about his own role. Jassi confesses that he wants Poorvi and tells Neha to follow his instructions. He offers her double the money Monisha gave her, which was 30 lakhs, and promises to pay her 40 lakhs if she doesn’t drop the case tomorrow. Suddenly, there’s a knock on the door, and Neha suspects it might be Poorvi.
RV, deep in thought, remembers how Neha introduced herself as Nethra Rai Singh and took him to the room. Deepika sees RV and decides to talk to Monisha about him. RV recalls the night Neha brought him to the room. Harleen then sits beside RV on the bench, and he rests his head on her lap. Poorvi, watching them, thinks that a child finds peace in their mother lap. She prays to God, asking for justice for RV and hopes the world sees that he innocent. She also considers this a test for herself and God.
Meanwhile, Neha signals Jassi to leave as her boyfriend arrives. He asks Neha what her mom said, but Neha brushes it off as nothing important. As Jassi tries to sneak out, he accidentally bumps into something but manages to escape through the window. Neha boyfriend notices a key ring on the floor and asks whose it is. Neha says she doesn’t know and tells him to ignore it. He puts the key ring in his pocket, gives Neha a bag with her clothes, and tells her he heading to Bangalore. After he leaves, Neha breathes a sigh of relief.
Deepika then approaches Monisha, urging her to end the game now. Monisha reassures her that everything is under control and that she made all the necessary arrangements to wrap things up the next day. Deepika agrees but warns that if Monisha doesn’t end it, she will take matters into her own hands.
The next day, Diya returns home and tells everyone that she overheard the media discussing how the press conference will be broadcast live. She suspects they’re doing it on purpose. Yug leaves abruptly. Diya asks where her sister is, and the servant tells her that she in her room. Meanwhile, Poorvi is picking out clothes for RV and asks him to wear what she has chosen. Yug arrives and asks where RV is. Poorvi says he changing. RV then comes out and casually asks how the meeting went. Yug, frustrated, says that while RV has been going through a lot, all he cares about is the meeting, even though Yug has been worried sick about him.
