Kumkum Bhagya 28 Aug 2024 Written Episode: Sahil Uncovers Jassi’s Lie
The episode begins with Khushi confronting RV, saying she’s already involved because Poorvi is her sister. She tells RV that she knows his true intentions and questions what he was thinking when he married Poorvi. Khushi accuses him of treating their marriage like a game, while for Poorvi, it’s her life because she follows her heart and is innocent. Khushi asks if RV is planning to take revenge on her by hurting Poorvi. She reveals that Poorvi was even willing to divorce him just to protect him. She asks RV if all this is just a trap he set to get back at her, just like before.
RV is frustrated and denies her accusations. He says everyone is blaming him, and his whole family is suffering because of it. He asks Khushi if she thinks he would let his family go through such a terrible experience again. But Khushi is firm, saying his anger and hatred must be so deep that he’s divorcing Poorvi just to destroy her trust in marriage and completely break her spirit. RV, irritated, asks if Khushi is crazy. Khushi demands to know if he married Poorvi to take revenge on her. RV admits that he initially married Poorvi to make Khushi suffer, to give her the same pain she caused him. However, he insists that now he no longer wants to hurt Poorvi and never wants to cause her any more pain.
Khushi doesn’t believe him and urges him to leave Poorvi. RV responds by saying that if he wanted revenge, he would take it out on Khushi directly, not on Poorvi. He tells her that Poorvi is nothing like her—she’s better in every way: good, honest, and innocent. He says he won’t let anything bad happen to Poorvi. But Khushi accuses him of betraying Poorvi and torturing her for revenge. RV admits that he married Poorvi under false pretenses to make Khushi feel the same pain and suffering. But he questions Khushi, asking why she never told Poorvi about their past. Just then, Poorvi walks in.
Meanwhile, Jassi agrees with Monisha that a legal separation is the right move and tells Neha to get the divorce papers for RV and Poorvi. Neha decides to go right away to get their signatures. Jassi celebrates by opening a bottle of champagne and serving drinks to Neha and Monisha before drinking straight from the bottle himself. They all start dancing to music. Suddenly, Sahil arrives and knocks on the door. Neha tells Jassi and Monisha to hide. Monisha refuses to go through the window, but Jassi insists. Sahil checks Neha’s location and realizes she’s inside. He jokes about her wearing a face mask, saying she would still look beautiful. Neha tells Jassi and Monisha to hide quickly.
Back with RV and Poorvi, Poorvi notices the tension and asks if they were fighting. RV explains that Khushi accused him of divorcing Poorvi just to hurt her. Khushi becomes upset and leaves. Poorvi apologizes to RV on Khushi’s behalf and goes after her to talk. RV, left alone, reflects on what Khushi said. He realizes that she’s right—he did marry Poorvi under false pretenses and betrayed her. He regrets his actions and acknowledges that he was wrong.
Sahil, still outside, demands that Neha open the door, suspecting someone is inside. Jassi and Monisha sneak back into the hall to grab their phones. Sahil tries to break down the door, prompting Jassi and Monisha to wonder if he’s gone mad. Neha warns them that Sahil is very angry.
Khushi, deep in thought, wonders if RV is telling the truth or lying. She can’t figure out why he would suddenly be good to Poorvi. Poorvi catches up to Khushi and tries to talk to her. Khushi insists that RV is not good for her and is betraying her. Poorvi, confused, asks why Khushi thinks this and questions what RV was saying about the past. Sahil finally breaks into the house but doesn’t find Monisha, who is hiding under the bed. He does, however, see Jassi hiding behind the door and starts beating him, demanding to know who he is and if Neha is cheating on him. Jassi doesn’t reveal his identity and runs away with Sahil chasing after him. Monisha emerges from her hiding spot and tells Neha to meet her later at 6 p.m. before escaping through the window. Neha follows Sahil.
Poorvi questions Khushi, asking about RV’s comments regarding the past. Khushi reveals that she met RV at a conference and that Armaan knew him as his competitor. RV had accused Khushi of not telling Poorvi about their past. Poorvi agrees with RV, saying Khushi should have told her the truth. Khushi defends herself, saying she often says things in anger. Poorvi questions whether Khushi knew RV before her marriage. Khushi feels RV has turned Poorvi against her, accusing her of not being happy that she’s fighting for her. Poorvi reassures Khushi, saying she’s glad Khushi hasn’t broken their relationship. Khushi hugs her, insisting that she’s only worried because Poorvi is so good and honest.
Poorvi, however, defends RV, saying he has always taken care of her and that Nethra is the one who ruined everything, not RV. She expresses pride in being married to RV and insists she couldn’t find a better person. RV, who overhears this, is taken aback. Poorvi asks Khushi to trust her, explaining that the divorce was her idea, not RV’s. She regrets telling Nethra about it and causing trouble for RV. She believes RV will help her through this and will never hurt her. She then invites RV to come home with her, saying she has something important to discuss with him. When Khushi asks what it is, Poorvi reveals she wants RV to do something involving marriage, leaving both RV and Khushi shocked.
