Kumkum Bhagya 23rd Sept 2024 Written Episode Update: RV & Poorvi’s Emotional Moment
The episode starts with Monisha calling Neha and asking where she is. Neha replies that she’s about to make a grand entrance and tells Monisha to wait and watch. Meanwhile, RV tries to talk to Poorvi, but she ignores him. He follows her. Yug greets Diya, but she seems upset. He asks her what’s wrong, and Diya says everything feels wrong. Yesterday, they had a court hearing, and today, there’s a sangeet. Yug reminds her that they knew this would happen and had planned to find proof in court. Unfortunately, they didn’t find solid evidence, but he feels Bhabhi made the right decision by not mentioning Nethra’s profession. Diya asks why, and Yug explains that even if they had brought it up, they still couldn’t prove that Neha was lying. He reassures Diya, saying they have nine more days to gather evidence, and on the tenth day, they’ll prove that it was all Neha’s plan. Diya thanks him for helping her understand but worries about her sister, Poorvi. She fears that if Neha wins, Poorvi will lose her husband. Diya begins to cry, and Yug hugs her to comfort her. Deepika sees this and decides she needs to tell Chachi about it.
In the kitchen, RV confronts Poorvi, asking why she’s upset and ignoring him. He holds her hand, but Poorvi pulls away, saying she has a lot of work. RV asks why she’s acting so distant, but Poorvi denies acting strangely. He then asks if she’s upset because of something his mother did. Poorvi says that his mom isn’t upset because she couldn’t solve the problem but because she feels Poorvi created it in the first place. RV tries to make her understand that, in the end, it’s all the same—whether she hit the problem or the problem hit her. It’s like his grandmother always says: hitting the foot with a hammer or the hammer with the foot is the same thing. He wonders if Poorvi is taking out her frustration with his mother on him. Poorvi is shocked and says she would never do that. She explains that parents always think of their children’s best interests, so she could never be mad at his mom.
RV then asks if she’s upset with him because his mom is mad about the wedding announcement with Nethra. Poorvi turns the question around, asking why RV isn’t angry with her. She feels he should be. RV responds that as her husband, it’s his job to support her. Poorvi sadly says he’s her husband now, but after his marriage to Nethra, he won’t be anymore. RV is frustrated, saying that Poorvi doesn’t seem to appreciate his support, but when he doesn’t support her, she complains that he isn’t listening. He’s confused about what to do. Poorvi tearfully says he’s doing exactly what he wants—marrying Nethra.
RV sees Poorvi’s tears and jokes that he should be the one crying since she scolds him so much. Poorvi denies scolding him but admits she has complaints. She’s upset that he agreed to marry Nethra without thinking about how it would separate them forever. RV hugs her, saying he’s never met someone who gets so angry and cries at the same time. Poorvi cries because she doesn’t want to lose him and asks him to say something. RV jokes back, but Poorvi says she doesn’t want to talk anymore and tells him to leave, upset that he’s taking things so lightly. RV leaves, hurt, and Poorvi immediately regrets it, wondering if he’s mad at her.
Meanwhile, Vaishali invites Harleen to join the family, but Harleen refuses, saying she wants to stay and pretend she’s happy for Nethra. She blames Poorvi for the situation. Vaishali sympathizes, but Harleen brushes her off. Deepika then enters and warns Vaishali that she should worry about herself because something bad is about to happen to her too. Vaishali is confused, so Deepika reveals that she saw Yug and Diya hugging and accuses them of being inappropriate. She points out that while RV is marrying Nethra for the family’s honor, Yug is doing something wrong, trying to stir trouble between them. Vaishali immediately goes to find them.
Yug asks Diya if she’s feeling better now, and Diya assures him she doesn’t want to bother anyone. RV passes by without saying anything, and Poorvi follows him, asking Diya if she saw him. Diya tells her he went the other way, and Poorvi rushes after him. Yug notices this and tells Diya it looks like they had a fight. Diya smiles, saying that arguments mean there’s love. Yug asks her what love really is, but before they can continue talking, Vaishali calls for Yug, and he follows her.
Poorvi catches up to RV but is stopped by Monisha. Monisha asks why RV is upset, and Poorvi says it’s nothing serious. Monisha pries, asking what’s going on between them, but Poorvi tells her to stay out of it. Monisha taunts her, saying that RV doesn’t care about Poorvi and will marry Nethra without a second thought. Poorvi dismisses her, but Monisha confidently claims that RV will eventually be hers, even if this marriage doesn’t last.
Just then, they hear drums playing. Neha makes a grand entrance, dancing with a group of performers. She lifts her veil, showing off, and declares that this is her big moment. She jokes that since her parents aren’t there, she had to make a grand entrance herself. She wants everyone to dance and enjoy because it’s the biggest day of her life. As she dances, Sahil arrives, disguised as one of the drummers. Neha approaches RV while dancing, and Poorvi watches as Neha tries to get everyone involved in the celebration. The NGO women also arrive, encouraging the drummers to keep playing.
