In today’s episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 (August 21), Amitabh Bachchan announced that he would help contestant Nareshi Meena with her medical expenses. Nareshi has been diagnosed with a brain tumor and shared her story on the show.
During the episode, Amitabh Bachchan learned that Nareshi needs about Rs 25-30 lakh for Proton Therapy. He promised to help her financially. He said, “Nareshi ji, I want to assure you that I will do my best to arrange the funds needed for your Proton therapy. I sincerely hope your treatment goes well.”
Amitabh also added, “I want to support you, Nareshi. I will make every effort to cover any expenses that come up.”
Nareshi Meena, from Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, is fighting a brain tumor. She shared that she discovered her condition while trying to become a police officer. She had passed the written exam but failed the medical test due to vision issues. An MRI then revealed the brain tumor.
In the next episode, viewers will see if Nareshi Meena can win Rs 1 crore when Amitabh Bachchan asks her the next question.
