Kavya Written Episode Update 16th August 2024: Vicky and Adi’s Friendship Deepens
The episode starts with Kavya repeatedly calling Adi a cheater. She’s upset and turns against him. Adi tries to hold her, but Vicky comes in and accidentally steps on an alcohol bottle, causing him to fall onto Adi. Kavya laughs at the scene and jokes that they look good together, like Karan and Arjun. Vicky disagrees, saying those names don’t suit them. Adi tells Vicky to get up, and they start arguing, which worries Rajeev and Anjali. Kavya, still upset, accuses Adi of cheating and not trusting her. Adi tells her to look at herself, saying she’s willing to go to any lengths to punish him and often lies. Vicky steps in to stop the argument, and Kavya falls onto the sofa. Vicky suggests they go home, and Kavya says she needs to go home. Vicky offers to take her, but Adi insists she needs to sober up first. He heads to the kitchen to cook something. Vicky admires the large kitchen and dining table, and Adi decides to make khichdi. Vicky offers to make a salad to go with it, but Adi jokes that it’s not necessary. They start cooking together. At one point, Vicky reminds Adi that he forgot to light the stove, and Adi quickly corrects it. Vicky cautions him not to wait too long before lighting the stove again.
Meanwhile, Santu comes to talk to Kavya and starts crying. Kavya, confused, asks what’s wrong and notices that all her pictures have been removed. Santu assures her that everything is safe and urges her to come back, saying Adi is incomplete without her. Kavya is surprised and asks how Santu knows this, to which he replies that he just knows.
As they cook together, Adi wonders what Kavya sees in Vicky, while Vicky thinks that Adi looks like a hero. Adi admits to himself that Vicky isn’t so bad, and Vicky wonders why Kavya left Adi, suspecting that maybe Adi is the problem. They begin to bond over drinks. Vicky then shares how he and Kavya first met—she booked a taxi, and after a few meetings, he started to like her. He admits she looks beautiful when she smiles and apologizes. Adi reassures him that it’s okay.
Vicky, worried, asks if Adi is angry and might hit him, but Adi smiles and says no, he appreciates Vicky’s honesty. Just then, Omi arrives and talks to Kavya, acknowledging that he knows she is Adi’s ex-wife. Kavya corrects him, calling herself his ex-aunt. She begins to cry as she talks about how Adi treated her badly. Vicky accuses Adi of deceiving them and dragging Kavya into it as well. Adi questions Vicky’s trust in Kavya, and Vicky firmly states that he believes Kavya could never cheat. Adi warns him that he might regret it if he gets betrayed. Vicky, however, turns the tables, accusing Adi of being the one who cheated. Adi tries to explain that it’s just politics and that Vicky would act similarly if he were in Adi’s shoes. But Vicky says he doesn’t want to play politics. Adi shares his ambition to help people if he becomes the Chief Minister. Vicky advises Adi to remember that if he steps on others to climb up, those people won’t forget it. Vicky then vows to help Kavya make things right, predicting that Adi will eventually lose.
Adi and Vicky bring food for Kavya, encouraging her to eat. She refuses at first, so Adi signals Vicky to make her laugh and get her to eat. Vicky tries his best, but when that doesn’t work, Santu tells Adi to feed her. Adi instructs Santu to fetch some water, which he does, and Kavya drinks it. Vicky then takes Kavya with him, leaving Adi in tears. Santu asks if Adi is going to stop her, but Adi replies that if Kavya wanted to stay, she would have stayed.
