Kavya 22nd August 2024 Written Episode: Kavya’s Fight for Justice Succeeds
The episode starts with Vicky dropping Kavya at the court. He tells her to go inside while he keeps an eye on Adi. Kavya mentions she needs to go to the file room and gets permission to enter the record room. Meanwhile, Adi arrives, and Vicky notices some kinners (transgender individuals) nearby. Vicky approaches them and asks for their help. He tells them that Adi is heartbroken because his wife left him and asks them to cheer him up. The kinners go to Adi and start dancing around him, making him smile. Vicky watches and smiles as well.
Inside, Kavya sends the peon outside to meet Vicky. Adi, who is now in a rush, tries to leave, but the kinners keep him occupied with their dancing. Kavya finds the file she was looking for. Adi, now in a better mood, also starts dancing with the kinners, and Vicky joins in, admiring Adi’s dance moves.
Kavya comes out and sees Vicky dancing. She calls him and asks what he’s doing. He replies that he’s waiting for her and just enjoying the moment. Kavya tells him that she has the court order and is ready to leave, so Vicky should start the car. He warns her to be careful because Adi is nearby. Adi, noticing them, asks if they are done as he knows how to dance too and is ready to go inside.
Kavya quickly runs to the car, but as Vicky starts driving, the car breaks down. Kavya panics, realizing Adi could catch up to them. Vicky checks the car and discovers that someone has tampered with it. He tells Kavya to take a rickshaw and leave. However, before she can do so, some goons snatch the file from her and run away. Kavya chases them, eventually getting the file back, but the goons confront her again, holding her at gunpoint. She stumbles, and just then, Adi arrives and fights off the goons.
Kavya accuses Adi of staging the attack, suggesting he sent the goons just to appear as her savior. Adi denies this and questions the goons about who sent them, but they claim not to know. Seema, another character, watches from afar and wonders why she sent the goons after Kavya. Seema believes it’s in her best interest to make Kavya think Adi is behind the attack, which would hurt his chances in the election.
Adi tells Kavya he could never hurt her, but more goons appear and attack them both. During the scuffle, Vicky arrives, playing a police siren on his phone, scaring off the goons. Vicky poses for a moment but gets hit by a goon. He quickly recovers and fights back, even making the goon answer a phone call from his wife. Vicky then jokes with Adi about his fighting and dancing skills, suggesting they have no competition because Adi has good biceps. Vicky invites Adi to his home for Bebe’s homemade parathas. Kavya laughs at their banter.
As they turn around, they see that Adi has run away again. Adi checks the file he managed to grab but realizes Kavya tricked him with a fake file. Kavya, on the other hand, shows the real court order to Vicky, which says the government must increase taxi fares. Vicky is thrilled.
Meanwhile, Adi realizes that Kavya has ruined his plan, and he worries he might lose his party ticket. Seema is pleased, thinking Adi’s dream of winning the election is over, and now, no one can take her position.
Back home, Kavya and Vicky are welcomed warmly by their family. Kavya pretends to be emotional, but then bursts out laughing, revealing she was just joking. She shares that she’s happy about the victory but insists she has to leave now that the matter is resolved. Her family is disappointed, especially Rajeev, who had dreams of seeing her become an IAS officer. Kavya explains that it’s too difficult for her to see Adi every day, but Rajeev is hurt by her decision.
Later, Giriraj receives a letter with the candidate list and tells Adi that his name isn’t on it. Furious, Adi vows that Kavya will pay for this.
