REPORT: Kapil Sharma, Remo D’souza, and Sugandha Mishra receive mail death threats; police file FIR against unidentified person

Fans are alarmed after Kapil Sharma and Remo D’Souza got death threats. Sugandha Mishra and Bollywood star Rajpal Yadav also got mail threats. The threat emails may have come from Pakistan, according to media sources. An FIR has been filed, and investigations are proceeding.

Recent reports indicate that the Mumbai Police have filed a First Information Report (FIR) on Kapil Sharma and Rajpal Yadav’s accusations. A non-cognizable crime was also recorded in response to Sugandha’s allegation. Remo also reported a threatening email to the police.

An purported Pakistani death threat email was addressed to Kapil Sharma on December 14. Sender ‘BISHNU’ signed the email. It threatens celebrities and requires them to respond to the mail within eight hours or face serious consequences.

The death threat email begins, “We are monitoring your recent activities and believe it is important that we bring to your attention a sensitive matter. This is not a publicity stunt or an attempt to harass you; please take this communication seriously and confidentially.”

Under Section 351(3) of the BNS, Mumbai’s Amboli Police Station has filed a First Information Report (FIR) against an anonymous person. Kapil Sharma and his family would be protected, according to sources.

Kapil Sharma hosted the second season of The Great Indian Kapil Show. The comedian’s single is Guilt. Kapil plays a billionaire who is unhappy after his wife dies in the song video.
